BVI ENTRY PROTOCOLS:

FULLY vaccinated travellers (received 2nd dose 2 weeks or more), and minors 17 or younger in vaccinated family bubble, will require:
1. Proof of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR OR Approved Rapid Antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before arrival in the BVI (taken at any certified lab, no home kits valid)
2. Proof of vaccination
3. Proof of insurance (any medical insurance that's valid for travel)
*We highly recommend travel insurance to cover any unforseen quarantine period in case you test positive. This site has been recommended to me by guests; we have no affiliation with it. Squaremouth

IF YOU ARRIVE MORE THAN 48HRS SINCE TESTING: 
You'll be required to take a Rapid Antigen Test at your port of entry in the BVI. (cost $50)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            PARTIALLY vaccinated travellers: (travellers who have received one dose of a two-dose vaccine, or whose final vaccine dose was administered less than two weeks before arriving in the Territory) apply for travel certificate to enter the BVI on BVIGateway
Test: Proof of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 5 days prior to day of travel.
Portal Cost: $175/per person or child.
Arrival Test (Day Zero): COVID-19 RT-PCR test at airport or ferry terminal.
Quarantine: Four (4) days in a Gold Seal approved property or vessel.
Day Four Test: COVID-19 RT-PCR test at government site.
Transportation: Private transfer only.
 

UNvaccinated travellers: apply for travel certificate to enter the BVI on BVIGateway
Test: Proof of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 5 days prior to day of travel.
Portal Cost: $175/per person.

Quarantine: Seven (7) days in a Gold Seal approved property or vessel. If on vessel
Day Seven Test: COVID-19 RT-PCR test at government site.

Mixed Groups: apply for travel certificate to enter the BVI on BVIGateway
Visitors traveling in mixed groups (vax & unvax) will be treated as unvaccinated and required to quarantine for the full 7 days.

Contact Tracing Devices: 
Visitors in quarantine get a wrist band or a GPS box that must be turned in at a local police station upon completion of the quarantine period. *Fines of $10,000 are actually being enforced for anyone breaking the quarantine.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS VIA USVI & PUERTO RICO
**You must also complete travel portals for travel thru USVI or Puerto Rico
USVI PORTAL  USVI requires RT-PCR test within 2 days (48 hours) of  travel.
PUERTO RICO PORTAL Puerto Rico requires an RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test within 3 days (72 hours) of travel. **No need to complete Puerto Rico portal if you are in transit and NOT leaving the airport.

There are generally a number of scheduled flights from San Juan, St Maarten, Antigua and other islands on the following airlines: 
Private charter flights are available with Fly BVI and VI Airlink and Island Birds. 

 
FLYING INTO ST THOMAS, USVI?
Ferries arrive at and depart from Road Town jetty twice a day. See schedules below.
Fully vaccinated travellers ONLY have the option of a private water taxi directly to West End. A few water taxi options: Chillout Charters, Ocean Dreams, Island TimeDolphin Water Taxi

**There are NO public ferries stopping at West End until further notice. Only private water taxis (carrying fully vaccinated guests only) may arrive at West End.

- Prices listed are for one way tickets. 
- The taxi ride from Cyril E. King airport to Charlotte Amalie ferry terminal takes 10-15 mins.
