🛋️ LIVING AREAS:
The layout of Osprey House is open-plan, functional & really makes the most of the indoor/outdoor style of living that is so special to the Caribbean. Crisp neutrals, high pitched ceilings & huge glass sliding doors flood the interior spaces with light & air.
The living room has comfy couches & arm chairs for kicking back & relaxing on. You'll never be bored at Osprey House as a large flatscreen TV with Apple TV & Dish Network are available for cosy movie nights or watching a game & there's also the fun addition of a Shuffleboard table. A Sonos sound system helps you create the perfect mood for any time of day. The living room flows through to an indoor dining area & state-of-the-art kitchen. All of this is bordered with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, leading to the outside spaces with truly breathtaking views of the ocean & neighbouring islands beyond.
The kitchen has everything you'll need for your (or a chef's) cooking needs. Top of the range stainless steel appliances include a double fridge/freezer, microwave & stove making catering for the whole group a breeze. The spacious kitchen island is a useful space for preparing meals & doubles as a breakfast bar for grabbing a quick bite to eat in the mornings.
You'll also a find a bright & cheery air-conditioned media/games room for you and/or the kids to enjoy. There's also an office area if you have to catch up on some work!
🛏️ BEDROOMS:
Each bedroom at Osprey House is a comfortable & tranquil place to rest your head at night. Calming neutral tones & natural woods and sweeping ocean views create spa-like retreats to lull you into a peaceful sleep. Each has a choice of AC or ceiling fans & an ensuite bathroom meaning privacy for every person in your group.
1) The Primary bedroom has a king sized bed & ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower, double vanity, and WC. The glass sliding doors open up to ocean breezes & a spectacular sea view from your private terrace.
2) The 2nd bedroom is just as gorgeous as the others - the only difference being a queen-sized bed & no bathtub in the bathroom.
3) The 3rd bedroom is comparable to the Primary, with a king sized bed & ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower, vanity, and WC. You'll also be able to enjoy spectacular ocean views from your private terrace.
4) 2 bunk beds with queen-sized beds makes makes the fourth bedroom the perfect bunk-up for all the kids. This room also has a private terrace with those stunning azure views & an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double vanity, and WC.
☀️ STEP OUTSIDE:
Like any great vacation villa, the outside spaces at Osprey House are just as spectacular as the inside. There's plenty of comfy spots to choose from for unwinding, whether it's shade or sun you're looking for. The glass doors from the living room & kitchen open up to the outdoor patio. There's a covered area with soft cushioned loungers & also an outdoor dining table for alfresco dining with an ocean view. Why not try grilling up a local Anegada lobster on the gas BBQ? Of course, much of your time will be spent splashing in the crystal-clear turquoise pool. Its infinity edge makes it feel like you could swim right into the ocean. And if all that wasn't enough, there's a L-shaped chill out couch & fire-pit on the lawn just past the pool. Osprey House is located in the exclusive gated estate of Nora Hazel Point. The incredible ocean views overlook Peter, Cooper & Salt Island & the location puts you a short drive (or sail) from many of our favourite beaches.
🏖️🍴BRANDYWINE BAY (0.5 miles away)
Nearly all of the beaches on Tortola are located on the North shore of the island. Brandywine Bay is unique in a couple of ways, not only is it one of only two beaches that are on the South shore but there is also hardly anyone on it - like ever! It's got to be one of the only beaches on the island that's super easy to access but deserted at the same time. There's kind of a reason for this, it doesn't have any amenities, shade or surf and it's quite close to the road BUT there is a lot to be said for a morning stroll to an empty white sand beach with turquoise waters (the snorkelling's pretty good too!).
Perched on the edge of Brandywine Bay is Brandywine Estate, one of Tortola's best fine dining restaurants. It offers a cool breeze & stunning views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel. They offer a selection of French and Mediterranean inspired dishes and also a great Sunday Roast, it's a beautiful place for lunch or dinner.

Here, you'll have a choice of great restaurants, bars & coffee shops (Capriccio's, Lady Sarah's, Dragonfly, The Dove, Botella and Island Roots are some our faves), the Road Town ferry terminal which you can catch boats to Virgin Gorda & St Thomas, and plenty of shops for souvenirs (try Nutmeg & Co and EC Soap Co for locally made products and gifts). You'll also find our largest grocery stores here (Riteway Pasea Estate and OneMart Superstore) plus specialty food stores like Steakation and The French Deli.
🏖️🏄♀️JOSIAH'S BAY (4.4 miles away)
Offers amazing surf for both beginners and pros and is home to BVI Surf School where you can rent a board or book a lesson. There's also a couple of low-key beach bars for a cold beer and a snack here too.
⛴️✈️🍴🏖️🛒BEEF ISLAND (5.5 miles away)
Beef Island (connected by bridge) is the Eastern tip of Tortola & home to the airport. Here you'll also find the ferry dock, where you can catch ferries to neighbouring islands such as Virgin Gorda, Scrub Island & Marina Cay. There's also some great restaurants on the beach at Trellis Bay - Loose Mongoose for brunch & coffee & Jeremy's kitchen for an all day menu including Caribbean favourites and their famous 'Awesome Sandwich' to name a couple. We'd also recommend checking out Trellis Bay's full moon parties - it comes alive with live music, fire shows, dancing and drinks. Another Beef Island must is a trip to Long Bay East beach. On the weekends, it can be pretty lively with lots of barbecuing, music playing and people having a good time. It's a nice, friendly vibe with lovely white sand and clear blue waters.

✈️ TERRANCE B. LETTSOME (EIS) (5.5 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you'll fly into.
⛴️ROAD TOWN FERRY HARBOUR (4.3 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) and other British Virgin Islands (Virgin Gorda & Anegada)
🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry's Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
