The development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the idyllic mile long beach. Convenience can be a rarity in Tortola, but here you can simply stroll down to the white sands, turquoise waters and beach-front restaurants of Long Bay

🛋️ LIVING AREAS:
Restful yet refreshing, the décor is tasteful and elegant with beachy hues and complementary artwork. An airy open-plan kitchen and living room filled with sunlight and comfortable Caribbean furnishings is only separated by a sociable breakfast bar and island. The kitchen area has all the essentials for self-catering (please note there is no oven but electric cooktop and toaster oven). The living room offers comfortable seating for those moments of downtime and, if you can bear to tear your eyes away from the glistening ocean view, Smart TV with FLOW cable and hi-speed WIFI.
🛏️ BEDROOMS:
1)The bedroom and bathroom continue on with the light and breezy feeling of the suite with a king-sized bed, AC, and adjacent bathroom with shower. Of course, you’ll be met with ocean views here too as the floor to ceiling window slides open wide to a Juliet balcony.
2)The sofa can pull out into a queen-sized bed, making room for a total of 4 guests. *see Notes for additional charges
☀️ STEP OUTSIDE:
Eat, drink, laugh and lounge on the spacious and sociable deck of Blue Latitude. There are 4 stylish sun loungers for catching those rays and a covered porch with teak dining set and a built-in gas BBQ. You really couldn’t ask for a more special place to enjoy BVI’s fiery sunsets, clear night skies bursting with stars or rolling lush green mountains.
The Garden Suite is the larger middle floor suite of Blue Latitude Villa. Guests share an entryway and stairs with the Penthouse but it’s quite possible that you won’t see any other guests for your entire stay.
🏡 Blue Latitude (villa #55) can be rented as an entire villa for up to 8 guests, or as two separate suites: The Penthouse and the Garden Suite. Check out their separate listings. This is the Garden suite listing (1 king suite + pullout sofa in living room).

🧹 HOUSEKEEPING: is once midweek or every 4 days for longer stays. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping is available at your own expense.
🅿️ PARKING: There is parking outside the Villa. It’s a tight road so if you’d prefer not to reverse back then there’s easier parking spaces before you reach the villa, a very short stroll down the road.

At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. (Pool passes are not currently available).

A little village with world-class winter surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Nardie’s Beach Bar at Sebastian’s, The Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.

Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic and perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling and is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

A charming village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.
🍴WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away)
Head to Stoutt’s Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Banakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.

West End Ferry Terminal is opposite (where you can catch ferries & water taxis to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas). Enquire with Soper’s Hole Marina and Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat.

The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
