🛋️ LIVING AREAS & BATHROOM:
The decor is tasteful with a cool, coastal vibe. Everything is light, bright and breezy and perfectly complements the turquoise ocean which is so close it feels as if it’s in touching distance.
The spacious open-plan kitchen and living area makes for a sociable layout. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with fridge/freezer, 4 burner cook top, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee-maker and area for indoor dining. The living room is a cosy spot for moments of downtime with comfy sofa and coffee table. The large glass doors opening from the kitchen to your private porch are screened for your comfort, allowing in plenty of sea breeze, but keeping any pesky bugs out. To keep you cool, the powerful Hunter ceiling fans do a great job, however there is also AC which flows through from the bedroom if you prefer.
🛏️ BEDROOM:
The comfortable ensuite bedroom offers a queen size bed sandwiched between two windows framing the azure ocean. The bathroom has a shower.
☀️ STEP OUTSIDE:
Your private covered porch is lovely and spacious and equipped with a dining table for 4. 2 comfortable rockers overlook the deep blue, this is where you’ll want to put your feet up and read a book or watch the pelicans dive for their supper.

🏡 Casa Caribe consists of two comfortable and welcoming suites, Casa Caribe loft (upstairs) and Casa Caribe Sea-Level (downstairs) and can be rented separately or together – perfect for 2 couples. Checkout The Lofts separate listing.
❗️Although Casa Caribe is on the water’s edge, you do need to walk a short distance (2 mins) along the road to access the beach. The beach can be more pebbles than sand at certain times depending on the swell conditions rather than season (impossible for us to predict)
🧹HOUSEKEEPING: your housekeeper Louise will visit do a general clean and linens/towels change (5-7 nts = no maid service, 8-14 nts = 1 maid service, 5-21 nts = 2 maid service)

A charming little village in the West End of Tortola with world class winter surf, and you will be within walking distance of a selection of wonderful restaurants. Nardie’s Beach Bar at Sebastians on the Beach is just a minutes walk away and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a special weekend brunch menu and can be a lively spot to spend a Thursday or Saturday night as they host Bingo and Karaoke. The Sugar Mill is a beautiful upscale boutique hotel, just a short oceanfront quarter mile walk away. The main restaurant opens for candlelit dinners and its stylish sister Tramonti is open for breakfast and lunch with a beachfront position.

At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)

A lovely village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.

Head to Stoutt’s Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Bananakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.

Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic & perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling & is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and a great selection of restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more.

🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps.
