A high wall with wooden doors greet you at the end of the spacious driveway so that as you enter the courtyard you also enter "holiday mode" and escape to your own little slice of paradise!
Directly in front of you is the main house and the Master suite beyond in a 2nd pavilion. To the right is a 3rd pavilion housing two more bedrooms. It's actually rare to find a villa with 3 such comparable bedrooms so that couples sojourning together don't have to pull straws over who sleeps where! Each bedroom is fully screened, has a comfortable and beautifully dressed king-size wooden bed, AC, an en-suite bathroom, French doors leading to a private balcony with seating, and mesmerizing views of the azure waters just a few minutes from the villa. One bedroom is upstairs with a flatscreen TV with DishNetwork and a shower and tub in the bathroom; the other down a small flight of steps from the courtyard so everyone has their privacy.
The front door leads into the heart of the house...with ocean views everywhere you look! The living room is furnished comfortably for 6 or more, with breezes flowing through windows and doors on 3 of the walls. The 55" flatscreen with DishNetwork is there if you need it as is the AC. A set of screened French doors leads to a small porch overlooking the ocean while 2 more sets of French doors lead directly onto the screened-in porch for relaxed dining al-fresco any time of day or night without the bother of mosquitos...I know some of you out there are very attractive to those little bugs!
The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of space for more than one chef in the house... The kitchen has a hatch making it easy to pass through to the screened-in dining room, and it has double doors leading to the indoor dining room which is decorated with a selection of pretty, eclectic pieces. Leave the French doors open for breeze or close and turn on the AC.
Solaria is at the perfect elevation for the ocean to take on that glassy, serene appearance as yachts cruise by, and yet you can walk to Long Bay beach below in just minutes. The L-shaped pool and surrounding deck is the prefect spot to admire these views with a drink or book at hand...sun for some of you and shade for others. A secluded alcove behind the pool deck offers a built-in gas grill and the deck is furnished with a 2nd option for al-fresco dining.
And finally the Master Suite...a lovely room furnished with Balinese teak furniture with ensuite bathroom and a balcony that's the perfect spot for a little reading, surrounded by the lush foliage rustling in the breeze.
You can't fail to fall in love with Solaria, it's relaxing and comfortable and very Caribbean...book now for the perfect vacation!

BEACHES: Long Bay Beach is 1 mile long of white sand - perfect for walking off the cocktails and coconut shrimp or conch fritters! There are certain areas with a sandy bottom that are best for swimming and some areas that have more coral surface, we will point you in the right direction. Pelican Point is a large rock protruding from the water in the middle of Long Bay, great for snorkeing on calm days.
Apple Bay (3 min drive to East) offers world class surfing when the conditions are right.
Smugglers Cove (7 mins drive to the West) is a protected spot that usually offers calm waters - perfect for the less energetic among us and perfect for snorkeling the coral reefs where you can spot all kinds of sea-life - colorful small fish including angel fish etc, small octopus, turtles and puffer fish. Nigels Beach bar offers cold drinks and a limited number of sun-loungers.
We recommend renting a 4WD vehicle for your stay. There is plenty to go and see and taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest but it is a mountainous island and the roads can be pretty rugged so 4WD gives you confidence to explore without fear. The BVIs are very safe so you can explore anywhere the road takes you!
