GETTING FROM ST THOMAS TO TORTOLA

You’ll need to get a boat over to us! The ferries are notoriously hard to figure out as there's so much old information floating around online. The BVI PORTS AUTHORITY is now doing a great job of posting monthly schedules with links to the individual ferry websites below. We also always recommend calling ahead to double check and confirm schedules. If possible, try and get a ferry that takes you into the West End ferry dock. This is the best port to arrive at for most of the properties we manage, just a 10-15 minute drive if you’re staying in Apple Bay, Long Bay, Belmont or Smugglers Cove. ST THOMAS TO ROAD TOWN:

There are two places in St Thomas you may be travelling from, Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. PRIVATE WATER TAXIS:

A private water taxi is a great way to travel directly to West End or Road Town. This gives you the advantage of: 1) Travelling to your own schedule 2) A shorter boat ride from the USVI 3) Arriving at West End which is just a 10-15 minute drive to most of the villas that we manage in Apple Bay, Long Bay, Belmont Estate and Smugglers Cove 4) A shorter Immigration and Customs processing time on arrival than a ferry.
