Space
Designed with a Balinese style, a feeling of total zen washes over you as you walk around the property and with a 6ft Buddha watching over the pavilions, itâs clear that the space was designed with peace and calm in mind. The photo with the numbers marks each area of the villa below:
1) THE UPPER GARDENS
The upper gardens are home to the buddha, a bocce/cornhole area and a pagoda with spectacular views. This is the perfect zen spot for yoga, meditation or just enjoying a morning coffee.
2) SPA DECKS
Two wooden decks on the very northern edge of the property are idyllic spots for yoga or to relax and watch the boats sailing past. Youâll find a jacuzzi, plenty of comfy and sociable seating and lounging areas and of course, sweeping ocean and Island views.
3) COQUI SUITE
Tingalayoâs 1st & most private bedroom, the Coqui Suite is in its own separate pavilion accessed through a garden next to the games room. Youâll find a king-sized canopy bed, a large ensuite bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower and ocean views. Adjoined to the Coqui suite are the Spa decks.
4) GAMES ROOM
Sandwiched between The Coqui Suite and the Great House is a fun games room, complete with wall-mounted TV with lots of movies to choose from, puzzles, games and a courtyard with outdoor pool table. Youâll find another private deck to relax and enjoy the view on.
5) THE GREAT HOUSE
The great house is the âmainâ and largest pavilion, making for the perfect spot for gathering your party. The space is sociable and open plan, blending the comfy living room, indoor dining area and spacious kitchen into one. The living room is a cosy area for moment of downtime with squashy sofas, a large TV and lots of books. The kitchen is fully equipped for a large group with 2 full-sized refrigerator/freezers, a commercial gas range, 2 dishwashers, a pantry and a spacious breakfast bar. Whether itâs yourself or a chef doing the catering, youâll have everything you need for a slap-up meal.
6) THE GREAT HOUSE EXTERIOR
This all leads out onto the large, covered porches of the Great House. Youâll find comfy loungers and chairs, an outdoor grill, sweeping ocean views with your crystal infinity pool is just round the corner. The Great House also has a dining pavilion which is covered but open on the sides to the ocean breezes. Again, fully equipped for anything you might need, thereâs room to seat 12 comfortably, 2 wine fridges and spacious sideboards for serving.
7) POOL DECK
The 45ft infinity pool is at the heart of the property, sandwiched between The Great House and Dorado bedroom. With plenty of cushioned loungers, a shaded alfresco dining area and a 180 degree view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, itâs the perfect place to watch the yachts sail by and the sun sink below the horizon.
8) DORADO & FLAMINGO
The other side of the pool from the Great House is the next pavilion housing 3 of the bedrooms â Dorado, Flamingo and Turtle Suite. Dorado offers a king-sized bed with ocean views and shares a hallway and a choice of 2 bathrooms with Flamingo. Both have showers but one also has a small bathing tub for children and double sinks. Flamingo also offers an ocean view and a king-sized bed although this can also be made up as two twins. It also has access to a sheltered garden area.
9) TURTLE SUITE
The Turtle Suite is its own private oasis and is accessed by a wraparound deck from the infinity pool. The seating area is a lovely space for reading a book and savouring the views. Inside the suite, youâll find a king-sized canopy bed, a separate dressing area, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and both indoor and outdoor showers.
10) PARKING/THE GYM
Working out is a lot better when you have a view of the Caribbean ocean. Just next to the Turtle Suite, youâll find a building with yoga equipment, an elliptical, a rowing machine and free weights. Under and adjacent to the building is covered parking for 2 vehicles and thereâs additional parking in the forecourt.

Transit
âïļ TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (17.6 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). Itâs the only airport on Tortola and where you'll fly into.
âīïļ WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (2.9 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke
âīïļ ROAD TOWN FERRY TERMINAL
Here you can catch ferries to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) and fellow British Virgin Islands (Anegada & Virgin Gorda)
âĩ SOPER'S HOLE MARINA, LIGHTHOUSE MARINA & NANNY CAY MARINA
Arriving by boat & looking for dock space? Try these marinas nearby.
ð Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and thereâs so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but itâs a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry's Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
