One of our most popular and celebrated romantic retreats, The Captain’s House is a picturesque two-bedroom private villa, neatly perched high up on the hillside over the golden beaches of Long Bay.
Welcoming you to The Captain’s House is a long driveway bordered by colorful flora. At the end of the driveway, the villa is private behind a large wall and wooden gate. The gate opens onto the pool deck surrounded by the well-established lush tropical garden. The Villa’s inviting pool separates it into two pavilions, ensuring maximum privacy for the guests. The East pavilion offers one king bed (or two twin beds, the choice is yours), with en suite bathroom and private outdoor shower, a private balcony and Cable TV.
On the far side of the pool, you will find the main pavilion - Large sliding patio doors on 2 of the walls keep the tropically decorated living-room nice and cool, as well as the fully-equipped kitchen which is located adjacent and divided by a convenient breakfast bar. The kitchen has a gas stove, coffee-maker, blender, toaster and usual gadgets and the living room has Cable TV, DVD player and an ipod dock.
Boasting an outdoor shower with ocean views and private balcony, the master bedroom suite shares the same, impressive 16-foot cathedral ceilings as the living room and other bedroom.
With stunning panoramic views of Long Bay, Smuggler’s Cove, Gun Point and the outlying Islands of Jost van Dyke and Sandy Cay - The Captain’s House is an ideal getaway for honeymooners, an anniversary trip or a fun holiday with your children. With Long Bay Beach Resort just at the bottom of the hill, daily or weekly passes offer options for tennis, gym and spa treatments. Soper's Hole and West End is just 10 minutes away with restaurants, a grocery store, gift shopping, boat rentals, day sails, ferries to Jost Van Dyke and the USVI....something for everyone!
Maid service is once per week and she will change all bed linens and towels and do your personal laundry, as well doing a general clean throughout the house.
