Blue Latitude is one in a collection of attractive, free-standing villas nestled into the slopes of Long Bay, West End. The fabulous North-facing views encompass Jost Van Dyke, Little Jost, Sandy Cay and Green Cay. Formerly part of Long Bay Beach Resort, the entire development is surrounded by well-established, bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the mile long white sand beach...your villa is just a few minutes' walk from the sand and turquoise water...
While almost identical in design and layout, the interiors of these privately-owned villas have all been individualised and all have ocean views due to their positioning on the hillside. We offer a selection of properties ranging from one bedroom to 3 bedrooms, which can be rented as individual units or as entire villas - there are internal stairs that can link them together or can remain locked.
Blue Latitude's interior really stands out in newly painted soothing beachside hues with artwork to compliment the seaside theme. Restful yet refreshing and comfortable, the decor is tasteful and elegant. Blue Latitude offers 3 suites which can be connected by internal stairs for families and friends or rented separately for individuals or couples looking for a peaceful getaway.
The Garden Suite is the largest unit and is on the 2nd/middle floor, with a separate bedroom and living room/kitchen and a large, covered dining deck with seating for 8. The large sliding glass and screen doors open to the breezes and ocean views in both the bedroom and living area. The living room offers comfortable seating and a queen size pull-out sofa for 2 additional guests (a possible total of 8 guests), a desk and satellite TV. It is separated from the kitchen with a sociable kitchen island housing the cooktop, coffee-maker, blender, microwave oven and full size refrigerator. The bed has a comfortable king-sized bed, wifi, satellite TV, and an adjacent bathroom with shower and single vanity. Enjoy the outdoors on the covered deck with teak dining set for 8, bluetooth speakers and a built-in gas BBQ.
(**Also available through a different listing: The Penthouse (3rd/topfloor) has a spacious and bright open layout thanks to a high vaulted ceiling and wide, screened glass sliding glass doors that open to the covered deck with ocean views and sea-breezes - the perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a beer or cocktail. Accommodations include a comfortable king-size bed, built-in desk, AC, wifi, satellite TV and kitchenette with microwave, fridge and coffee-maker. Positioned between two famous beaches, Long Bay is in itself a treasure - with a mile of soft, white sand, there's a quiet spot for everyone - on a calm day snorkel out to Pelican Point; when the swell is up body-surf or boogie-board the waves to the shore. Or simply walk off some of those frozen drinks that you can buy at 1748 or Tropical Fusion restaurants right on the beach.

Villas of Tortola properties and staff have all received government-operated gold-seal training and certification.
The Penthouse, Garden Suite and Studio can be rented as separate units or together. There's a shared entryway on the 1st floor with stairs leading up to the garden suite and Penthouse.

NEIGHBOURHOD DESCRIPTION:
Blue Latitude is found in Long Bay, West End where many of the rental villas have been built so we have a great selection of restaurants within 5 - 15 minutes drive of the villa. West End Jetty is just 10-15 minutes away, perfect if you're arriving by water-taxi from St Thomas (no ferries scheduled as of Oct'21), the New Horizon ferry to Jost van Dyke also leaves from West End jetty. Soper's Hole Marina is another great West End feature, home to 3 restaurants (Pussers Landing, Omar's Coffee Shop and Omar's Fusion), Harbour Market grocery store, Arawak, Breeze and Allamanda gallery gift shops, plus Island Surf and Sail for all kinds of watertoy rentals.
GETTING AROUND:
You can easily stay without renting a car as you can feasibly walk to Smugglers Cove and Apple Bay either side of Long Bay, but we definitely recommend renting a 4WD SUV for at least some of your stay, there's plenty to explore. Tortola's only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest but it's a mountainous island and the roads can be pretty rugged with some sharp switchbacks on the hills. We have some great taxi driver's in the West End who can meet you on arrival and bring you to your villa for a really relaxing start to your vacation. And of course they're available for trips to beaches, restaurants and anywhere else.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
- All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be made in writing by email and will be dealt with on a case for case basis.
- For cancellations received 61 days or more prior to your arrival 20% of your DEPOSIT will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 46-60 days prior to your arrival 50% of your TOTAL will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival 100% of your TOTAL is forfeited. If we’re able to re-book the villa to another guest we will return to you 80% of the rent paid by the new guests for the nights rebooked (the nights might be rented at a “last minute” discounted rate that’s less than you originally paid).
- There will be no refund made for late arrivals or early departures.
Deposit Policy
PAYMENT POLICY
Once you reserve a property a deposit of 50% is due to confirm the reservation. The balance of 50% + the refundable damage deposit must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival. *If paying by credit card, Refundable Damage Deposits will not be charged until arrival.
