On the mountainous island of Tortola, to find a villa that is close enough to walk to the beach and have a spectacular view is a feat in itself. This new villa (Dec 2012) has been finished to a very high standard under the watchful eye of the owners.
The villa was built by an English couple who fell in love with Tortola years ago. And with a genuine love of the local fauna, many of the plants that are going to offer a very lush, tropical garden, have been nurtured from cuttings by the owners too. The 3 very private bedrooms offer comfortable alone-time with ocean views, while the living room, porches and pool deck offer a variety of lounging arrangements for your relaxing vacation with friends or family.
The concrete driveway sweeps gracefully up to the villa, with plenty of parking and turning space and steps lead up to the rather imposing large mahogany front door. Once inside, your view looks straight down onto the living room and ocean views beyond. In front of you is the well-apppointed kitchen which in turn leads onto a covered dining porch above the pool deck. Furnished with Indonesian teak furniture throughout, and decorated in a neutral palette with splashes of color, the fabulous views remain the focal point. The beautiful dark stained woodwork throughout is the perfect accent.
The living room has 2 very comfortable sofas, DirectTV, a stereo with wall-mounted speakers and ipod connections, a selection of books and DVDs and 2 pairs of very large screen doors. Then walk out to the pool deck, around which the villa is laid out. With six sun loungers, an outdoor shower, and a gas BBQ and dining area, the deck offers both sun and shade, as well as calming azure views. There is also a half-bathroom off the pool deck.
All bedrooms are ocean facing, fully-screened and air-conditioned, furnished in custom Indonesian teak furntiure. The bathrooms all have wonderfully large fully tiled showers.
The master suite and second bedroom are in a second pavilion at the end of the pool deck. Upstairs, the master suite offers a heavy king size teak bed, 2 porches and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
Downstairs, adjacent to the pool deck, the second bedroom has twin beds (which can be made up as a comfortable king size bed), and en-suite bathroom with shower.
The third bedroom is accessed by steps down from the pool deck and offers a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower with lots of privacy.

Enjoy the comfort of Alfresco and the ease of it's location in Long Bay. The walk down the hill to the beach is an easy 10 minutes. It is possible to get daily and weekly passes for the Long Bay Resort facilities of pool, tennis and gym, should you wish to do so. Long Bay Beach is a mile of white sand, perfect for a bit of exercise! Smugglers Cove (less than 5 minutes' drive west) is idyllic and perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling. Apple Bay (a couple of minutes' drive East) offers world-class surf in front of the infamous Bomba Shack, which is itself world-renowned for it's Full Moon Parties. There are several great restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive of the villa, as well as Soper's Hole and West End ferry dock.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
- All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be made in writing by email and will be dealt with on a case for case basis.
- For cancellations received 61 days or more prior to your arrival 20% of your DEPOSIT will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 46-60 days prior to your arrival 50% of your TOTAL will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival 100% of your TOTAL is forfeited. If we’re able to re-book the villa to another guest we will return to you 80% of the rent paid by the new guests for the nights rebooked (the nights might be rented at a “last minute” discounted rate that’s less than you originally paid).
- There will be no refund made for late arrivals or early departures.
Deposit Policy
PAYMENT POLICY
Once you reserve a property a deposit of 50% is due to confirm the reservation. The balance of 50% + the refundable damage deposit must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival. *If paying by credit card, Refundable Damage Deposits will not be charged until arrival.
