If you're looking for views that take your breath away, in a flawlessly rebuilt villa (2021) where everything is fresh and new... then Spyglass House is for you. The villa's stunning vantage point atop Spyglass Hill showcases the Sir Francis Drake Channel to the south with it's silent display of yachts, speedboats and ferries exploring the sparkling islands dotted on the horizon. While Jost Van Dyke is off on the horizon to the North peaking from behind Zion Hill.

The easy open plan layout makes for a relaxing stay for friends or family. The three spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are impeccably finished with 2 being in the main house making it a great option for parents needing to be close to young children (the 3rd bedroom has 2 twins that can alternatively be made up as a king). Heavy glass sliding doors in every room showcase the views from sunrise to sunset, while the dark wood-louvred windows allow the hilltop breezes to flow while providing a private cooling shade.

Top notch appliances and fixtures and fittings and clean white subway tiles add a modern luxurious expansive feel to the kitchen and bathrooms. Cooking is a joy and meals can be eaten at the breakfast bar, indoor or outdoor dining tables. The smartTV is mounted above the living room doors.

A loggia off the living room provides shade for 2 teak sun-loungers and the outdoor dining and seating arrangements, which can also easily be moved onto an adjacent concrete area or further down the garden to catch some rays...move around to make the most of the views and weather at any time of day.

There's wifi and AC throughout the villa, an outdoor shower, propane BBQ and laundry room with washer and dryer.

Spyglass House is central to West End, where you have several beaches and restaurants, Soper's Hole Marina and West End ferry terminal all within a 5-15 minute drive. Sit back, relax and unwind at Spyglass House.

Spyglass Hill is in the heart of West End where lots of the most beautiful and unique villas have been built over many years as well as Long Bay Beach Resort. We're lucky enough to have West End ferry terminal, Soper's Hole Marina and a great selection of restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive of the property and it has a friendly community feel with a good mix of residents and tourists in the area. BEACHES: Long Bay Beach is 1 mile long of white sand - perfect for walking off the cocktails and coconut shrimp or conch fritters! The best areas for swimming are near the middle and the 2 ends of the beach. Pelican Point is a large rock protruding from the water in the middle of Long Bay, great for snorkeling out to on calm days. Apple Bay offers world class surfing when the conditions are right (October-April). Smugglers Cove is a protected spot that usually offers calm waters - perfect for the less energetic among us and great for paddle-boarding or snorkelling the coral reefs where you can spot all kinds of sea-life. Patricia offers awesome lunches, cocktails and drinks. DINING OPTIONS: Long Bay: Tropical Fusion and 1748 and Johnny's Beach Bar at Long Bay Resort, beachfront. Apple Bay: Sebastians on the Beach, Tramonti and The Sugar Mill for fine dining in a beautiful historical setting. Carrot Bay/Windy Hill: Da Coal Pot on the waterfront, Bananakeet (top of Windy Hill for the best sunset views), Stoutt's Lookout (top of Windy Hill) for great views and very informal BBQ Soper's Hole: The Admiral Pub, Pusser's Landing, Omar's Coffee House and Omar's Fusion.

GROCERIES & ATTRACTIONS: C&D convenience store is just over Zion Hill (10-15 minutes drive). Soper's Hole: Harbour Market (a well-stocked branch of the island's main grocery store -Riteway), along with Arawak, Breeze, Allamanda Gallery, Driftwood Spa and Island Surf and Sail for all your water toy rentals. Sage Mountain is a 25 minute drive and offers beautiful National Park trails at a slightly cooler temperature due to the elevation and shade of the rainforest-like terrain.
