LIVING AREAS:
Equal parts stylish, comfortable and relaxing, the spacious and well-equipped Flamingo Sunset is perfect for large groups. The abundance of glass sliding doors and windows brings the outdoors in, and the vaulted ceilings on the upper level make for a villa that is full of light and air.
You’ll enter into the spacious upper level, with open-plan kitchen, dining and living room. The comfy L-shaped sofa is a great place to relax on and watch the Smart TV with Netflix or Local FLOW Cable (if you can bear to tear your gaze away from the views). There is a dining table, if you chose to dine indoors and a well-equipped kitchen separated from the rest of the space by a sociable breakfast bar. The custom cabinetry and kitchen island make the kitchen an attractive feature of this living space, but it is also very functional with everything you’ll need for self-catering. Large, screened glass doors slide open to a covered porch with alfresco dining table that overlooks the pool. This is a wonderful spot for watching the sun sink below the horizon as you dine.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The primary bedroom and 2nd bedrooms are located either side of the living area on the main floor. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are located either side of the pool deck, accessed by exterior stairs on the North side of the villa.
1) The comfortable primary offers a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a corner bath and access to a private balcony which is the perfect morning coffee spot with an ocean view. The door is screened so you can enjoy an ocean breeze without having to worry about bugs.
2) The 2nd bedroom has 2 twins beds that can be made up as a king, and a bathroom with shower. You’ll also be able to enjoy the sweeping views from a private balcony, or just the soft breezes through the screened door.
3 & 4) Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished, one with a king bed and the other with twin beds that can be made up as a king. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom of course, one of these bathrooms can be unlocked to access directly from the pool deck if you wish. (Please note these bedrooms are not suitable for younger children as you must exit the house and use exterior stairs to reach them).
5) For your convenience we have 2 x single foam pull-outs in one of the bedrooms for a 9th and 10 guest.
STEP OUTSIDE:
The pool deck of Flamingo Sunset is designed with everyone in mind – no matter whether you’re a sun or shade bather. You’ll find another covered outdoor dining area for dining by the pool, plenty of loungers for catching some rays, a handy awning which means you can swim in the shade and of course.. your turquoise pool! Gazing at Belmont Pond whilst swimming some languid lengths is the perfect way to spend a day in our opinion.
Guests have sole access to the entire property.
AC: There is both AC & ceiling fans throughout
SECURITY CAMERA: There’s a ring camera next to the entrance porch facing out towards the driveway for security purposes, it does not overlook any living area/porch
GENERATOR: There is an automatic start generator for any pesky power outages
HOUSEKEEPING: is once for a stay of 5-7 days and twice for a stay of 10 days – 2 weeks. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Daily housecleaning can be arranged at your own expense.

Flamingo Sunset is located in the exclusive but welcoming rural estate of Belmont. It’s lower elevation means you can drive to two beautiful beaches (Smuggler’s Cove and Long Bay) in just 5/10 mins or take a pretty 10 min walk down (and slightly longer/steeper one back up!) Belmont Salt Pond below is a natural reserve and important ecosystem that regularly attracts flamingos – there are 8 there this week as I write this.
LONG BAY (600 yds away)
At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)
SMUGGLER’S COVE (0.7 miles away)
Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic and perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling and is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.
APPLE BAY (1 mile away)
A little village with world-class winter surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Nardie’s Beach Bar, Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.
CARROT BAY (1.7 miles away)
A charming village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.
WINDY HILL (2.7 miles away)
Head to Stoutts Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Banakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.
SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (3.2 miles away)
Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and a great selection of restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more. Enquire with Soper’s Hole Marina and Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat.
CANE GARDEN BAY (3.9 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of restaurants, bars & nightlife (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

Our role is to make sure that the property is always in tip-top condition and that you have the best vacation possible. Tortola is our home, we know our villas inside-out and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the property ahead of time.

TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (18.5 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.

Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.

Our family decided to spend five days to relax after a week-long boat charter in the BVI. Extremely clean and had everything we would need for our stay. Watching the sunsets every afternoon was priceless. Communication with host and her team was excellent. A couple of beautiful beaches just a short drive away. Would certainly rent again and/or recommend to family and friends!
The views from this house are amazing. The house was immaculate and had every we needed (towels beach, chairs, cooler etc.) Two of the bedrooms are only accessible from the pool deck which was fine for us but maybe not for a family with small children. House would be perfect for couples. Communication with property manager was great - timely responses to any question we had. We were greeted in person and given a tour of the house upon our arrival. This was great because it gave us the opportunity to ask any questions we had before our stay. There are two beautiful beaches close to the house. The driveway is steep but manageable once you get the hang of it. So glad we chose this house and this location for our stay on Tortola. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house with breath taking views. Perfect spot for a few days of relaxation and exploring Tortola before embarking on a sailing trip around the BVI. Super practical configuration for our family (would be great for any larger group) - plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own, spread out enough to feel like you have your own space, and large centralised gathering areas like kitchen, dining, and living area and pool deck that easily accommodate everyone. Location was great for the spectacular views, and while steep in a few spots, found the local roads accessible for walking down to two beach areas. Would recommend and would come back.
Awesome property! Clean, comfortable, well stocked with a fantastic Staff- Sharlene, Pinky, Sam and Eric were super helpful and in contact with us often and easily. Driveway is steep, but once you get the hang of it, you realise the property is well worth it!
