The open-plan layout is spacious with the kitchen, living room, outdoor dining & lounging areas seamlessly flowing into one another. Indoor/outdoor living is a must in the Caribbean, & the design of this villa embodies this way of life. High pitched ceilings & huge sliding glass doors allow the interior spaces to be flooded with light & air, whether you choose to have the doors open or closed. The living room offers plenty of comfy couches to unwind on & (if you can bear to tear your eyes away from the ocean views), watch the large flat-screen TV with your choice of Dish network or AppleTV. Built-in Sonos speakers are located carefully around the property so you can listen to your favourite tunes at any time of day.
A gourmet kitchen has everything you’ll need for your (or a chef’s) cooking needs. Top of the range stainless steel appliances include a huge double fridge/freezer, 2 drinks fridges & 2 ovens making catering for a large group a breeze. The kitchen island doubles as a breakfast bar with gorgeous views out onto the grounds, pool & ocean beyond.
There are many spots to choose to dine from, whether it’s the breakfast bar, stunning indoor dining room, poolside dining table, or alfresco dining area to the front of the house. Why not try a local delicacy & grill up a local Anegada lobster on the built-in stainless steel gas BBQ?

There’s no arguing over bedrooms necessary as all of them are restful retreats with modern en-suite bathrooms, AC, ceiling fans & private patios with picture perfect sea views. 5 of the bedrooms have king-sized beds & one has a queen. The layout lends itself beautifully to families & groups of friends alike.

There are so many comfy seating spots dotted around the grounds of Nora Hazel House to catch some rays, watch the sunrise with a coffee, enjoy the ocean breeze, watch the sun sink below the horizon with a sundowner or gaze at the stars. The pool deck is front & centre, with its crystal clear infinity pool. There are plenty of comfy cushioned loungers & sun umbrellas for both sun & shade-bathers alike. The pool overspills into a shallow area with low loungers – the perfect spot to catch a tan while remaining cool or play with children. The fire-pit is just past the pool on the lawn overlooking the ocean. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs around the flames under the vast BVI night sky is just the most magical experience. Nora Hazel House is located in the exclusive gated estate of Nora Hazel Point. The incredible ocean views overlook Peter, Cooper & Salt Island & the location puts you a short drive (or sail) from many of our favourite beaches.
🏖️🍴BRANDYWINE BAY (0.5 miles away)
Nearly all of the beaches on Tortola are located on the North shore of the island. Brandywine Bay is unique in a couple of ways, not only is it one of only two beaches that are on the South shore but there is also hardly anyone on it – like ever! It’s got to be one of the only beaches on the island that’s super easy to access but deserted at the same time. There’s kind of a reason for this, it doesn’t have any amenities, shade or surf and it’s quite close to the road BUT there is a lot to be said for a morning stroll to an empty white sand beach with turquoise waters (the snorkelling’s pretty good too!).
Perched on the edge of Brandywine Bay is Brandywine Estate, one of Tortola’s best fine dining restaurants. It offers a cool breeze & stunning views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel. They offer a selection of French and Mediterranean inspired dishes and also a great Sunday Roast, it’s a beautiful place for lunch or dinner.
🍸🍴🛒🛍️⛴️ ROAD TOWN (4.3 miles away)
Here, you’ll have a choice of great restaurants, bars & coffee shops (Capriccio’s, Lady Sarah’s, Dragonfly, The Dove, Botella and Island Roots are some our faves), the Road Town ferry terminal which you can catch boats to Virgin Gorda & St Thomas, and plenty of shops for souvenirs (try Nutmeg & Co and EC Soap Co for locally made products and gifts). You’ll also find our largest grocery stores here (Riteway Pasea Estate and OneMart Superstore) plus specialty food stores like Steakation and The French Deli.
🏖️🏄♀️JOSIAH’S BAY (4.4 miles away)
Offers amazing surf for both beginners and pros and is home to BVI Surf School where you can rent a board or book a lesson. There’s also a couple of low-key beach bars for a cold beer and a snack here too.
⛴️✈️🍴🏖️🛒BEEF ISLAND (5.5 miles away)
Beef Island (connected by bridge) is the Eastern tip of Tortola & home to the airport. Here you’ll also find the ferry dock, where you can catch ferries to neighbouring islands such as Virgin Gorda, Scrub Island & Marina Cay. There’s also some great restaurants on the beach at Trellis Bay – Loose Mongoose for brunch & coffee & Jeremy’s kitchen for an all day menu including Caribbean favourites and their famous ‘Awesome Sandwich’ to name a couple. We’d also recommend checking out Trellis Bay’s full moon parties – it comes alive with live music, fire shows, dancing and drinks. Another Beef Island must is a trip to Long Bay East beach. On the weekends, it can be pretty lively with lots of barbecuing, music playing and people having a good time. It’s a nice, friendly vibe with lovely white sand and clear blue waters.

✈️ TERRANCE B. LETTSOME (EIS) (5.5 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.
⛴️ROAD TOWN FERRY HARBOUR (4.3 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) and other British Virgin Islands (Virgin Gorda & Anegada)
🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
