🛋️ 🛏️ LIVING AREA, BEDROOM & BATHROOM: The Penthouse boasts a stunning ocean view, attractive Caribbean furnishings and the calming sounds of the waves below. Airy and filled with sunlight, it has an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling. Equipped with a king-size bed, two comfortable lounge chairs, a small workspace, a refrigerator, AC, cable TV and hi-speed WIFI, you’ll have all your home comforts but with a much better view! Recently remodelled, the bathroom is modern and bright with a spacious layout that affords a double vanity with 2 basins, a large custom shower and a dressing area with plenty of storage. There is a wonderful little annexe off this main room with 2 beautiful custom-built bunkbeds, perfect for children. Also in this room is a kitchenette, with the basics such as mini fridge, toaster, ice maker, drip-style coffee machine and crockery and cutlery. ☀️ STEP OUTSIDE: Open the large glass sliding doors to the covered deck, settle into the teak furniture, listen to the waves roll in and feel the breeze from your private ocean lookout spot.

🏡 The Penthouse is the upstairs suite of Vista Do Mar Villa and can be rented as an entire villa or 2 separate apartments. Check out our separate listings for Vista Do Mar Villa and The Seaview suite. The penthouse unit does have a bunk room in a little annexe off the main room, with 2 bunk beds. These can only be used when the villa is rented as a whole villa, to avoid potential disturbance to any guests staying downstairs in the Garden Suite. 🧹 HOUSEKEEPING: is once midweek. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Daily housecleaning can be arranged at your own expense. 💨 AC: There is AC & ceiling fans throughout 📶 WIFI: There is Wifi 🅿️ PARKING: There is a designated space right outside the villa, with steps down to the entrance 🎾 ACTIVITIES: You may see the Long Bay Resort amenities in some of the photos. Enquire with Long Bay Resort to purchase passes to the gym, tennis & pickle-ball courts. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12's are free)

Neighborhood

Vista Do Mar is located in the exclusive but welcoming neighbourhood of Long Bay in the West End of Tortola. It has a friendly community feel with a good mix of residents and tourists in the area. You’ll be just minutes away from Long Bay's beach and various wonderful amenities. 🏝️🍴🎾LONG BAY (300 yards away) At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand & turquoise waters & a selection of beachfront refreshment options - 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar & 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis & Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12's are free) 🏄‍♀️🍴 APPLE BAY (0.7 miles away) A little village with world-class winter surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Sebastian’s Seaside Grille, Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions. 🏖️🍴SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.3 miles away) Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic & perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling & is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the "BVI cruise ship schedule" to avoid the busier days. 🥭🍴CARROT BAY (1.4 miles away) A charming village where you'll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant. 🍴WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away) Head to Stoutt's Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Bananakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island. ⛴️🍴🛒SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.9 miles away) Here you’ll find a great selection of restaurants (Omar's Coffee House, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser's Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops, Driftwood Spa & more. West End Ferry Terminal is opposite (where you can catch ferries & water taxis to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John & St Thomas). Enquire with Soper's Hole Marina & Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat. 🏖️ 🛒💃 🍴CANE GARDEN BAY (3.6 miles away) The buzziest beach on island, you'll find a whole variety of Restaurants & Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett's plus many more) lining the water. You'll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming & options for watersports & Callwood's Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the "BVI cruise ship schedule" to avoid the busier days.

✈️ TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (18 miles away) is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you'll fly into. ⛴️ WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (3 miles away) The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke 🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps.
