AppleSurf Ocean Mist

The pictures are accurate. It’s a comfortable property with a beautiful view. Two points warrant attention. First, there are no curtains so the room gets light pretty early. I’m an early riser so it wasn’t a problem. Also, although the wifi worked well, there’s no television or clock radio available. I should have brought (or bought on island) some portable speakers. We really liked the villa. It had everything we needed. Sharlene was very helpful with advice on car rental and ferries. When we got lost she met us down the street. The view from the patio is beautiful. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t have beach access due to the damage from the hurricane, but it was still a great place. We would definitely stay there again. It is a private setting. Much better than a resort in our opinion. Definitely rent a car. We drove all over the island. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place a little off the beaten path, and this fit the bill perfectly! AppleSurf is wonderful, with the sound of the waves putting us to sleep each night and waking us up each morning. The villa was well-stocked with utensils for cooking our own meals, which we did occasionally; and Sebastian’s is a 2-minute walk for when we didn’t want to cook. Mastering our fear of driving on the left, we decided to rent a car, which was easy as can be–just a 5-minute ride over the hill, and that opened up so many more opportunities to see Tortola, dine away from the villa, and explore (and it turned out our fears of driving on the island were for naught–it was easy and fun, and the locals were so patient with our “photo op” stops!). Nice apartement in a great location. Love little apple bay, the beach and the people living there. Apartement have everything you need. Fully equiped kitchen, bedroom with a/c and a nice patio. Beachchairs, umbrella, cooler and beachtowels are provided. They will help you with carrental if you need help with that.   (Bente S   vrbo   6.5.2019)

We recommend the AppleSurf Villa. It’s private and in a great location. Not far from Smugglers Cove Beach, Cane Garden Bay. Sebastians is a nice restaurant/bar in walking distance. West end ferry is a 5 minute ride away. You need to rent a car to see all of this beautiful island. Sharlene gave us great tips on car rental and ferry information, as we flew into St Thomas and took a ferry to Tortola. We would definitely rent this villa again.  (Greg & Elena H   vrbo   3.14.2020)
