Blue Latitude is one of a collection of attractive, free-standing villas nestled into the slopes of Long Bay, West End. The stunning North-facing views encompass Jost Van Dyke and smaller islands.
Formerly part of Long Bay Beach Resort, the entire development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the mile long white sand beach…..your villa is just a few minutes’ walk from the sand and turquoise water….as well as a couple of beach-front restaurants.
THE INTERIOR
While almost identical in design and layout, the interiors of these privately-owned villas have all been decorated differently and each has ocean views due to their positioning on the hillside. With comfortable king-sized beds, AC, hi-speed WIFI, refrigerators and satellite or FLOW cable TV in all units, you have all the comforts of home – but you’re in the beautiful BVI!!
Blue Latitude’s interior really stands out in newly painted soothing beachside hues with artwork to compliment the seaside theme. Restful yet refreshing and comfortable, the decor is tasteful and elegant.
The Garden Suite (middle floor) is the largest unit with a separate bedroom and living room/kitchen and a large deck overlooking the beach below and large sliding doors open to the breezes and ocean views in both the bedroom and living area.
The living room offers comfortable seating and a queen size pull-out sofa for 2 additional guests (a possible total of 4 guests), a desk and satellite TV. It’s separated from the kitchen with a sociable kitchen island housing the cooktop, coffee-maker, blender, microwave oven and full size refrigerator. The bed has a comfortable king-sized bed, wifi, cable TV, and an adjacent bathroom with shower and single vanity.
THE OUTSIDE
Enjoy the Caribbean warmth on the spacious deck. There are 4 stylish sun loungers and a covered porch with teak dining set, bluetooth speakers and a built-in gas BBQ.
Blue Latitude (Villa #55) offers 3 suites which can be connected by internal stairs for families and friends or rented separately by individuals or couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Guests share an entryway with the penthouse unit and studio but it’s quite possible that you won’t see any other guests for your entire stay.

Positioned between two famous beaches, Long Bay is in itself a treasure – with a mile of soft, white sand, there’s a quiet spot for everyone – on a calm day snorkel out to Pelican Point; when the swell is up body-surf or boogie-board the waves to the shore; venture along Nature Boy’s trail through the sea-grape tress to Belmont Salt pond where you may even be lucky enough to see a flamingo! Or simply walk off some of those frozen drinks that you can buy at 1748 or Tropical Fusion restaurants right on the beach.

Long Bay: a mile-long white sand beach
Smugglers Cove: a protected cove that’s calm and relaxed
Apple Bay: often has surf in the winter, great for watching or participating
