The Cane Garden Bay Cottages offer the perfect location to relax with or without a car. The property is just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, famous for it’s picturesque calm turquoise water and white sand.
While it’s a typical village setting with a couple of churches and local stores, a school (and an old rum distillery of course), it also offers a selection of beach bars and restaurants for fun cocktails, reggae music and fun times.
THE INTERIOR
The cottages themselves are 2 single storey buildings housing a total of 4 semi-detached units. Situated across the road from the beach (2-3 minute walk), they are set in a beautiful almond and palm-tree shaded, grassy, large walled garden. Laze in a hammock or cook up a feast on BBQ in the new communal gazebo. The well-established garden offers kalabash, banana, coconut and almond trees, as well as the beautiful flowering hibiscus bushes and bougainvillea.
The cottages are identical in layout and each one is fully air-conditioned throughout. The bedroom has a queen size bed, closet with safe, dresser and SmartTV and direct access to the living room and the bathroom. The newly remodelled (2022) living area has a comfortable pullout sofa (optional sleeping for 2 children or 1 adult *see charges below), and a beautiful kitchen area with granite countertop and breakfast bar, stove, microwave, full size fridge/ freezer and more. The bathroom has a single vanity and shower.
Cottages 3 & 4 have an arched doorway in the living room that can be shuttered from both sides or opened up to link the 2 units into 1 for a family stay.
THE OUTSIDE

The front porch has a covered dining area with a circular table, the perfect spot to watch chickens stroll around the gardens and life go by in the bay. Each Cottage is equipped with a bluetooth speaker, WiFi, bed linens, bath and beach towels, an iron and board, coffee-maker, hairdryer, and safe.
We have off-street parking should you rent a car, but beautiful Cane Garden Bay really has plenty to keep you amused if you prefer to rely on taxis.
Cane Garden Bay is a really fun spot to stay – note that it’s one of the more popular beaches on the island and the only one with so many amenities. For this reason it does attract the cruise ship guests during the daytime, the ships leave by around 4PM (google BVI cruise ship schedule).
Please note that we do have a lovely garden area but we do not have beach views.
