INSIDE
Steps lead down from the off-road parking area behind the villa to a small deck perfect for BBQing on the charcoal grill or quietly lounging on the sun lounger. Inside the unit, you enter the galley-style kitchen which overlooks the ocean of course and is equipped with a 4 burner cook top, microwave, blender, toaster and coffee-maker. The main living area offers a comfortable built-in sofa , and dining table inside. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor. The blue shuttered arched windows and mahogany louvres throughout are screened for your comfort, allowing in plenty of sea breeze to keep you cool. There is also AC if you prefer.
Two large mahogany arched doors open up to a wonderful deck where you feel you can just reach out and touch the water. Rock back and forth on the swing-bench or there is additional seating for just taking in a little sun, reading or dining al-fresco.
Up a few steps the mezzanine-style bedroom has a queen size bed that overlooks the living room and the ocean beyond….sleep to the sound of the ocean and wake to the sand in your toes and a refreshing dip just a few steps away.
The interior stays nice and cool with Hunter ceiling fans and the fully screened windows and doors which let in the fresh ocean breezes, if you prefer to turn on the AC at night you have that option also.
As you can see the decor is tasteful with a cool, coastal vibe.
There are very few villas as close to the beach as Casa Caribe, so come and relax to the sound of the ocean.
OUTSIDE & NEARBY
Two minutes walk away, the hotel Sebastians on the Beach offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a small convenience store (closed right now due to Irma renovations). Big Ben’s Gas Station and C&D Supermarket (convenience store) are less than 5 mins drive over Zion Hill. The Sugar Mill, Tramonti and Da Coal Pot restaurants are less than 5 mins drive in another direction. Long Bay beach and Smugglers Cove are a few minutes drive in the opposite direction.
*Please note that although Casa Caribe is on the water’s edge, you do need to walk a short distance (2 mins) along the road to access the beach*
