Song of the Sea is one of a collection of attractive, free-standing villas nestled into the slopes of Long Bay, West End. The stunning North-facing views encompass Jost Van Dyke and smaller islands.
Formerly part of Long Bay Beach Resort, the entire development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the mile long white sand beach…..your villa is just a few minutes’ walk from the sand and turquoise water….as well as a couple of beach-front restaurants.
UPSTAIRS
While almost identical in design and layout, the interiors of these privately-owned villas have all been decorated differently and each has ocean views due to their positioning on the hillside. With comfortable king-sized beds, AC, hi-speed WIFI, refrigerators and satellite or FLOW cable TV in all units, you have all the comforts of home – but you’re in the beautiful BVI!!
Song of the Sea (Villa #5) offers 2 suites which can be connected by internal stairs for families and friends.
The Penthouse unit upstairs, has an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling and lots of sunlight. There’s plenty of space with a king-size bed, 2 comfortable lounge chairs, a small workspace, AC and cable TV and hi-speed WIFI. The small kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, coffee-maker, toaster oven and refrigerator. The bathroom is very spacious and offers a large shower and a dressing area with dresser and hanging closet.
Large sliding glass doors open to the covered deck complete with a teak table and chairs looking out to the pretty ocean views.
DOWNSTAIRS
The Garden Suite is the larger of the two on the ground floor, with a bedroom, full bathroom, and an open plan kitchen/living room.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed, dresser, comfortable chair and AC. The adjacent bathroom has a shower and additional closet space.
The kitchen area has a cooktop and oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker and blender. The living room offers comfortable seating, an ample work space and FLOW cable TV and WIFI. It’s separated from the kitchen with a sociable breakfast bar and island.
Large sliding glass doors open to the breezes and ocean views in both the bedroom and living area.
Surrounded by tropical palms and vegetation for privacy, is a spacious covered dining deck with seating for 6 and a built-in gas BBQ, with ocean views beyond of course.

Positioned between two famous beaches, Long Bay is in itself a treasure – with a mile of soft, white sand, there’s a quiet spot for everyone – on a calm day snorkel out to Pelican Point; when the swell is up body-surf or boogie-board the waves to the shore; venture along Nature Boy’s trail through the sea-grape tress to Belmont Salt pond where you may even be lucky enough to see a flamingo! Or simply walk off some of those frozen drinks that you can buy at 1748 or Tropical Fusion restaurants right on the beach.

Apple Bay: often has surf in the winter, great for watching or participating
