We invite you to Steele Point Estate Villa, a beautifully appointed villa enjoying an incredible location right at the tip of a private peninsular that juts out into the ocean, offering 360 degree views of some of the worlds most picturesque waters.
You will have a birds eye view of the balmy blue seas beneath you and be able to spot sea vessels of all shapes and sizes, from super yachts to fishing boats. Nature will reveal herself in all her glory as you watch the incredible fiery hues of a BVI sun setting behind the jungle green islands that dot the bay, and you will be able to watch pelicans diving for their supper and frigate birds patrolling their territories.
This is one of the most desirable locations on Tortola, and this is truly a very special villa.
THE INTERIOR
Being situated on a rocky outcrop beside the sea means that the villa is arranged on several different levels. There are spacious eating and seating areas and a fully equipped kitchen, and if you fancy a little bit of me time you will be able to choose from several hidden away spaces all complete with comfy chairs and those incredible views.
There are five beautiful cool and airy bedrooms each with their own bath facilities. Some have their own private verandahs and all enjoy a unique vista of the turquoise sea outside.
Everything inside is pale and calm so as not to take away from the glory of the surrounding views which are framed by the floor to ceiling windows at every level.
Designed with a modern, clean and fresh feel the natural stone floors and white painted wood finishes provide a perfect foil to the riot of colour outside the windows, allowing the natural beauty to shine throughout.
THE OUTSIDE
We mentioned that you might feel like you are sailing the high seas from your vantage point at Steelepoint Villa. Well, step through the doors from the main seating area and you will find yourself on your own private deck, the Captain of your own landlocked ship. The sense of freedom from up here is immense, and the views simply magical. You won’t find a better spot to enjoy your sundowner in all of the Caribbean.
When you can no longer resist that blue ocean, wander down to your private beach cove and dip your toes in the water. There are two docks as well, perfect for swimming and snorkelling from.
ON YOUR DOORSTEP
While your gated peninsular may feel like you are living on your own private island, there is easy access to Tortola’s beaches, restaurants and laid back nightlife within a short drive.
Ifyou fancy stretching your legs for just over a mile you can walk to the very handy Soper’s Hole Marina. Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and a great selection of restaurants, a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more.
A similar length walk in the opposite direction will take you to Smuggler’s Cove. An idyllic beach, perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling and is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar.
The little village of Apple Bay is just 12 mins by car and offers world-class surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Sebastian’s Seaside Grille, Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.
At Long Bay (15 min drive) you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun!
