Vista do Mar – SeaView

Great views, close to the best beaches, lots of choices of where to sit and enjoy & parking right out back. Constant breezes kept the house at a perfect temp and then the plunge pool was such a treat to cool down in. Just returned from Long Bay, Tortola and a wonderful family Christmas vacation away from the cold Northeast US. We had a great time and found the place to be perfect for our stay. We rented both the Garden and Penthouse Suites which gave us plenty of space. The villas are very clean and wonderfully appointed. We had everything we needed especially a short walk (2 min) to one of the best beach in the Caribbean (Long Bay). We enjoyed our breakfasts and some dinners out on the Garden Suite deck, which has a fantastic view and constant light breeze. Coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at dusk on the penthouse deck was even better. The villa has everything your looking for in quality and comfort. Very appreciative of the new beach chairs and coolers as got daily use. JC (Sam was away with her family for the holiday) was great in getting us familiar with the island and got me connected with the local fisherman (Albert) for fresh lobsters for our Christmas dinner. We fully explored the island, recommend the zip-line (Virgin Canopy) but I know that when my wife and daughter will get in for a swim in the waters of Tortola, I’ve found the right spot. Had a great day trip to the Baths in Virgin Gorda and my son even got in a late afternoon surf with JC (hope that was ok Sam) up in Apple Bay. Restaurants nearby ( D’CoalPot, Tropical Fusion) are excellent. There are a few others, smaller local spots we enjoyed over the bigger places but that’s just our preference. All in all a great place and a great trip. We’ll stay in touch and surely will be back again – maybe next Christmas!   (David   vrbo   1.5.2018)

We stayed in the studio portion of the villa. It was just right for our needs. A spacious studio with a lovely porch where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning, while taking in the amazing view of Long Bay Beach! The folks with Villas of Tortola were super helpful from “soup to nuts”. We had the kitchen provisioned , so that when we arrived we were ready to go. No extra time needing to be spent in finding groceries. Each evening we walked to a different restaurant, so we found we didn’t need a car for the 4 days we were there. The property’s location is unique and the villa is very comfortable. The full kitchen was great so we could choose to cook in or go out to the many restaurants in the area. We like the West End of the island because it has beaches and is very family oriented. This is our fourth year renting with Villa’s of Tortola and they are the best. We recommend this villa and the services provided by Sam and J.C. as they are great folks to work with.   (Dam & Amelia B    1.18.2015)
