Sleeps 6| 3 Bedrooms | 4 Bathrooms | 10-minute walk to beach
Solaria offers what most Long Bay villas don't: complete privacy for each guest. The three-pavilion layout means couples and families can enjoy shared spaces while maintaining separate retreats. The screened dining porch solves the mosquito problem without sacrificing ocean breezes. And at 550 yards from Long Bay's white sand, you're close enough to walk but elevated enough for unobstructed views.
Located in the exclusive Long Bay Estate on Tortola's West End, with walking access to beachfront restaurants and a secluded hillside setting that balances convenience with privacy.
This three-pavilion design creates natural separation—ideal for multi-generational families or friend groups who want both togetherness and privacy. Each bedroom pavilion functions as a self-contained suite with its own bathroom and outdoor access and you’ll find the living areas in the main house.
The front door leads into the heart of the house with ocean views everywhere you look. The living room is furnished comfortably for 6 or more, with breezes flowing through windows and doors on 3 of the walls. The 55″ flatscreen with local FLOW box is there if you need it as is the AC. A set of screened French doors leads to a small porch overlooking the ocean while 2 more sets of French doors lead directly onto the screened-in porch for relaxed dining al-fresco any time of day or night without the bother of mosquitos…I know some of you out there are very attractive to those little bugs!
The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of space for more than one chef in the house… The kitchen has a hatch making it easy to pass through to the screened-in dining room, and it has double doors leading to the indoor dining room which is decorated with a selection of pretty, eclectic pieces. Leave the French doors open for breeze or close and turn on the AC.

Neighborhood:
Solaria is located in the Long Bay Estate on Tortola's West End, at an elevation of approximately 200 feet above sea level. This hillside position provides unobstructed ocean views toward Jost Van Dyke while keeping the beach within a 10-minute walk (550 yards downhill). The return walk uphill takes 15-20 minutes due to the steep grade.
Long Bay Beach is one of Tortola's longest beaches at approximately 1 mile of white sand. The beach offers calm waters suitable for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, and snorkeling. Two beachfront restaurants—1748 Restaurant and Beach Club Grill—are within 600 yards of the villa. Road Town, Tortola's capital, is a 20-minute drive (8 miles) east.
About Long Bay, Tortola

Weather & Best Time to Visit
Tortola has a tropical climate with year-round warm temperatures. Average daytime temperatures range from 82°F (28°C) in winter to 88°F (31°C) in summer. Water temperature stays between 78-82°F year-round.
The dry season runs from December through May, with February through April seeing the least rainfall. Hurricane season is June through November, with peak risk in August and September. Most visitors prefer December through April for optimal weather conditions, though this is also peak pricing season.
Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
