LIVING AREAS:
A bright, open plan living room and kitchen is the heart of this condo. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a sociable island area, perfect for having breakfast with your friends or family before a long, hard day of relaxing. If you can bear to look away from the stunning ocean views that can be seen through the floor to ceiling glass doors, then there’s a 50″ flat screen smartTV and DVD player to keep you entertained.

BEDROOMS:
1) Be lulled to sleep by the ocean’s song in the master suite. A sumptuous king size sleigh bed, ample closet space, AC and a 32″ smart TV contribute to the feeling of luxury. An added bonus in this room is a drinks station complete with fridge and toaster. This is particularly useful if you have four guests as the extra facilities create the feeling of two self-contained units. The cool, stone accented ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower tops off this tranquil suite.

2)The living room can transform into a second bedroom overlooking the sea. The sofa pulls out to become a queen-sized bed, and with AC and an additional bathroom and shower leading off the living room, it makes Ariba a comfy home for up to four guests.

STEP OUTSIDE:
Your spacious balcony is the perfect place for BBQing the catch of the day and enjoying it from the comfort of the outdoor teak dining table. Complete with ocean and mountain vistas, you’ll also have a front row seat to watch the tennis and pickleball matches being played on Long Bay Beach Resorts newly built courts below.

Guests have sole access to the entire property.

Ariba is located in the exclusive but welcoming neighbourhood of Long Bay. You’ll be just steps from Long Bay Beach and Long Bay Beach Resort’s luxurious amenities.

LONG BAY (200 yds away)
At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)

APPLE BAY (0.6 miles away)
A little village with world-class winter surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Sebastian’s Seaside Grille, Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.

SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.2 miles away)
Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic and perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkelling and is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

CARROT BAY (1.3 miles away)
A charming village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.

WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away)
Head to Stoutts Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Banakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best cocktail and dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.

SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.9 miles away)
Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and some great restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more. Enquire with Soper’s Hole Marina and Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat.

CANE GARDEN BAY (3.5 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

Our role is to make sure that the property is always in tip-top condition and that you have the best vacation possible. Tortola is our home, we know our villas inside-out and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have about the property ahead of time.

TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (16.6 miles away)
(50 MIN DRIVE) is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.

WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (2.9 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke

Arriving by boat and looking for dock space? Try these marinas nearby.

Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be made in writing by email and will be dealt with on a case for case basis.

- For cancellations received 61 days or more prior to your arrival 10% of your rental amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

- For cancellations received 60 days or less prior to arrival 100% of your TOTAL is forfeited. If we’re able to
re-book the villa to another guest we will return to you 80% of the rent paid by the new guests for the
nights rebooked (the nights might be rented at a “last minute” discounted rate that’s less than you
originally paid).

- There will be no refund made for late arrivals or early departures.

Deposit Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
Once you reserve a property a deposit of 50% is due to confirm the reservation. The balance of 50% + the refundable damage deposit must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival. *If paying by credit card, Refundable Damage Deposits will not be charged until arrival.

We loved the location of the villa! It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Sam and Pinky were very helpful from start to finish. We would recommend renting through Villas of Tortola for sure. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Our vacation was great mainly because of the location. The place was beautiful and as described with everything we needed for a few meals in. Sam’s assistant Nana was exceptional, very helpful, friendly and responded quickly to any questions. The place is very quiet and peaceful even with a resorts tennis and pickleball courts nearby. I highly recommend Smugglers Cove as a go to beach, pristine beaches and crystal clear water are a short drive away. Overall our trip was everything we could ask for and a big reason was Ariba and its owners and assistants.

Overall our trip was everything we could ask for and a big reason was Ariba and its owners and assistants.

The location is great, the place is super clean and comfortable. The shower is a plus!
Sam was super responsive and flexible with check-in and check-out times.

If/when we return, we would book this rental again without hesitation

This rental had everything we needed from a fully stocked kitchen in terms of pans, appliances and accessories to beach must haves such as beach chairs and beach towels for our extended stay (12 days) on the West End of Tortola. Even after touring the island over the course of several days, my husband and I concurred the Long Bay area/Villas of Tortola location was the best choice for a quieter tropical stay. If/when we return, we would book this rental again without hesitation.
