The development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the idyllic mile long beach. Convenience is a rarity in Tortola, but here you can simply stroll down to the white sands, turquoise waters and beach-front restaurants of Long Bay.

LIVING AREAS & BEDROOM
Restful yet refreshing, the décor is tasteful and elegant with beachy hues and complementary artwork. You’ll also find a stunning ocean view, comfortable Caribbean furnishings and the calming sounds of the waves below in this breezy suite. Airy and filled with sunlight, it has an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling. Equipped with a king-size bed, built in desk, AC, FLOW cable TV and hi-speed WIFI, you’ll have all your home comforts but with a much better view!

The kitchenette is perfectly equipped for preparing simple meals with microwave, coffee-maker, toaster oven, blender, fridge and single electric cooktop. The bathroom is spacious and offers a tub with a shower head to soak in after a long day at the beach.

STEP OUTSIDE
From the bedroom, huge glass sliding doors open onto a spectacular covered deck. You couldn’t find a finer spot to sip a cocktail or watch the boats sail past. Enjoy the cool breezes and mountain views from your very own private lookout spot.

The Penthouse is the upstairs suite of Blue Latitude Villa. Guests share an entrance and hallway with the Garden Suite but it’s quite possible that you won’t see any other guests for your entire stay.

Blue Latitude (villa #55) can be rented as an entire villa for up to 8 guests, or as two separate suites: The Penthouse and the Garden Suite. Check out their separate listings.

WIFI: There is Wifi

AC: You have the option of ceiling fans or AC.

HOUSEKEEPING: : Your housekeeper Louise will visit once midweek or every 4 days for longer stays. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping is available at your own expense.

PARKING: There is parking outside the Villa. It’s a tight road so if you’d prefer not to reverse back then there’s easier parking spaces before you reach the villa, a very short stroll down the road.

ACTIVITIES: You may see the Long Bay Resort amenities in some of the photos. Enquire with Long Bay Resort to purchase passes to the gym, tennis & pickle-ball courts. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)

Neighborhood
Blue Latitude is located in the exclusive but welcoming neighbourhood of Long Bay. You’ll be just steps from Long Bay Beach and Long Bay Beach Resort’s luxurious amenities.

LONG BAY (300 yds away)
At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand & turquoise waters & a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar & 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis & Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)

SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.2 miles away)
Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic & perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling & is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

APPLE BAY (0.6 miles away)
A little village with world-class winter surf & a handful of bars and restaurants (Nardie’s Beach Bar at Sebastian’s, The Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.

CARROT BAY (1.3 miles away)
A charming village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum & D’Coal Pot restaurant.

WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away)
Head to Stoutt’s Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Bananakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.

SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.9 miles away)
Here you’ll find a great selection of restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops, Driftwood Spa & more. West End Ferry Terminal is opposite (where you can catch ferries & water taxis to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John & St Thomas). Enquire with Soper’s Hole Marina & Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat.

CANE GARDEN BAY (3.6 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports & Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

Transit
TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (19 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.

WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (3 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke

Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be made in writing by email and will be dealt with on a case for case basis.

- For cancellations received 61 days or more prior to your arrival 10% of your rental amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

- For cancellations received 60 days or less prior to arrival 100% of your TOTAL is forfeited. If we’re able to
re-book the villa to another guest we will return to you 80% of the rent paid by the new guests for the
nights rebooked (the nights might be rented at a “last minute” discounted rate that’s less than you
originally paid).

- There will be no refund made for late arrivals or early departures.

Deposit Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
Once you reserve a property a deposit of 50% is due to confirm the reservation. The balance of 50% + the refundable damage deposit must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival. *If paying by credit card, Refundable Damage Deposits will not be charged until arrival.

Lovely side of the island to spend time on the beach with the beautiful LongBay resort amenities to use. Perfect balcony! Views were awesome! Appreciated were the nice beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, swim toys, umbrella, and towels! Everything was great!
