LIVING AREAS
Blue Latitude Villa is split over 3 floors - the Studio (bottom floor), Garden Suite (middle floor) and the Penthouse (top Floor) interconnected by an internal staircase. Restful yet refreshing, the décor is tasteful and elegant with beachy hues and complementary artwork.
As you enter the property, you’ll pass the studio on the ground floor and climb a flight of stairs up to the middle floor (garden suite) where you'll be met by an airy open-plan kitchen and living room filled with sunlight and comfortable Caribbean furnishings, only separated by a sociable breakfast bar and island. The kitchen area has all the essentials for self-catering (please note there is no oven but electric cooktop and toaster oven). The living room offers comfortable seating for those moments of downtime and, if you can bear to tear your eyes away from the glistening ocean view, Smart TV with FLOW cable and hi-speed WIFI. The sofa can pull out into a queen-sized bed, making room for a total of 8 guests. *see Notes for additional charges
BEDROOMS
1) The bedroom and bathroom on the middle floor (Garden Suite) continue on with the light and breezy feeling of the suite, with a king-sized bed, AC, and adjacent bathroom with shower. Of course, you’ll be met with ocean views here too as the floor to ceiling window slides open wide to a Juliet balcony.
2)The bottom floor or Studio is a cosy self-contained apartment that offers a king size bed, desk, 40'' SmartTV with FLOW cable, wifi, bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster and microwave, it also has it's own little porch.
3) Upstairs you’ll find the Penthouse suite with its stunning ocean view, comfortable Caribbean furnishings and the calming sounds of the waves below. Airy and filled with sunlight, it has an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling. Equipped with a king-size bed, built in desk, AC, cable TV and hi-speed WIFI, you’ll have all your home comforts but with a much better view! The kitchenette is perfectly equipped for preparing simple meals with microwave, coffee-maker, toaster oven, blender, fridge and single electric cooktop. The bathroom is spacious and offers a tub with a shower head to soak in after a long day at the beach.
STEP OUTSIDE
Eat, drink, laugh and lounge on the spacious and sociable deck of Blue Latitude. There are 4 stylish sun loungers for catching those rays and a covered porch with teak dining set, bluetooth speakers and a built-in gas BBQ. You really couldn’t ask for a more special place to enjoy BVI’s fiery sunsets, clear night skies bursting with stars or rolling lush green mountains.
From the Penthouse, huge glass sliding doors open onto a spectacular covered deck. You couldn’t find a finer spot to sip a cocktail or watch the boats sail past. Enjoy the cool breezes and mountain views from your very own private lookout spot.
Sliding glass and screen doors from the Studio also lead to your own private deck to enjoy more ocean views over Long Bay.
Guests who rent the entire villa have sole access to the property.
Blue Latitude (villa #55) can be rented as an entire villa for up to 8 guests, or as two separate suites: The Penthouse (1 king suite) and the Garden Suite (1 king suite). Check out their separate listings.

WIFI: There is Wifi
All rooms have the option of ceiling fans or AC.
HOUSEKEEPING: Your housekeeper Louise will visit once midweek or every 4 days for longer stays. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping is available at your own expense.
PARKING: There is parking outside the Villa. It’s a tight road so if you’d prefer not to reverse back then there’s easier parking spaces before you reach the villa, a very short stroll down the road.
ACTIVITIES: You may see the Long Bay Resort amenities in some of the photos. Enquire with Long Bay Resort to purchase passes to the gym, tennis & pickle-ball courts. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)

Our role is to make sure that the property is always in tip-top condition and that you have the best vacation possible. Tortola is our home, we know our villas inside-out and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the property ahead of time.

At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. APPLE BAY (0.6 miles away)
A little village with world-class winter surf and a handful of bars and restaurants (Nardie’s Beach Bar at Sebastian’s, The Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions.
SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.2 miles away)
Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic and perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling and is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.
CARROT BAY (1.3 miles away)
A charming village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.
WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away)
Head to Stoutt’s Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Banakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.
SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.9 miles away)
Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and a great selection of restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more. Enquire with Soper’s Hole Marina and Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat.
CANE GARDEN BAY (3.6 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of restaurants, bars & nightlife (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (19 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.

Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
