Chmada Beach Villa is modern & luxurious with a sociable layout. Sparkling ocean views & cool modern decor creates the feeling of ultimate island elegance. The perfect villa for larger parties, it can also be rented as two separate apartments (Ground floor - Onta Beach Villa & Top floor - Etta Beach Villa) meaning when rented as a whole, each guest has plenty of space & privacy. The layouts of each are identical - with nearly identical amenities keeping everyone comfortable, happy & oh so relaxed!
LIVING AREAS
The living areas at Chmada Villa are light, bright & airy, highlighting those incredible turquoise ocean views. Both the upstairs & downstairs have their own open plan living room/ kitchens. For moments of downtime, there are comfy sofas & chairs & a flat-screen SmartTV to watch the game or stream your favourite shows. Handily, the sofa in both the upstairs & downstairs living rooms pull out to make a double bed, making space for an extra guest on each.
The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you may need for self-catering. A handy breakfast bar is a great spot to gather for meals together with an ocean view.
BEDROOMS
Each floor has 2 ensuite bedrooms. Each bedroom is a private sanctuary where you can keep cool with choice of AC or ceiling fans (or both!). *Please note that if someone is sleeping on the sofa bed, then they will share a bathroom with one of the bedrooms (can be accessed though the living room as well as the bedroom).
1&2) Located on the ground level, you'll find 2 gorgeous bedrooms complete with ensuite bathrooms & flat-screen Smart TVs. One has a king sized bed & the other a queen.
3&4) On the top level, you'll find identical bedrooms to the ground, with ensuite bathrooms & flat-screen Smart TVs. One has a king sized bed & the other a queen.
STEP OUTSIDE
The outdoor spaces at Chmada Villa are just as special as the indoors. A spacious ocean facing porch on each level with dining, lounging & seating areas allow you to watch the waves roll in by day & the stars twinkle by night. Upstairs, you'll find a hot tub (the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of fizz & watch the sun go down). Downstairs, you'll be treated to a plunge pool in which you can soak while watching the surfers catching waves further down the bay. The Caribbean is also about the slow life, and Chmada Villa makes chilling out oh so easy...
Guests have sole access to Chmada Villa. It can also be rented as 2 separate 2 bed apartments - Etta Beach Villa & Onta Beach Villa. Checkout their separate listings.

PLEASE NOTE: Please note that the Apple Bay beach comes and goes during the year, it’s known for having good surf in the winter so the water can be rougher and the sand can disappear at times leaving pebbles and rocks. We’re not able to predict when this happens as it’s more to do with the weather systems and swells rather than the tides.
HOUSEKEEPING: is provided once mid stay for a 5-10nt stay, additional housekeeping available at your own cost.

Our role is to make sure that the property is always in tip-top condition & that you have the best vacation possible. Tortola is our home, we know our villas inside-out & we’re happy to answer any questions you may have about the property ahead of time.

APPLE BAY (on your doorstop)
A charming little village in the West End of Tortola with world class winter surf, and you will be within walking distance of a selection of wonderful restaurants. Nardie’s Beach Bar at Sebastians on the Beach is just a minutes walk away and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a special weekend brunch menu and can be a lively spot to spend a Thursday or Saturday night as they host Bingo and Karaoke. The Sugar Mill is a beautiful upscale boutique hotel, just a short oceanfront quarter mile walk away. The main restaurant opens for candlelit dinners and its stylish sister Tramonti is open for breakfast and lunch with a beachfront position.
LONG BAY (0.4 miles away)
At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand and turquoise waters and a selection of beachfront refreshment options – 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar and 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis and Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12’s are free)
CARROT BAY (0.9 miles away)
A lovely village where you’ll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant.
WINDY HILL (1.8 miles away)
Head to Stoutt’s Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Bananakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island.
SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.3 miles away)
Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic & perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling & is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.
SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.4 miles away)
Here you’ll find West End Ferry Terminal (where you can catch boats to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John and St Thomas) and a great selection of restaurants (Omar’s Coffee House, Omar’s Fusion, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser’s Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops and more.
CANE GARDEN BAY (3.1 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports & Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.

TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (17.5 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into.

Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
