The entire development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping & bordered by an idyllic mile long beach. Convenience is a rarity in Tortola, but here you can simply take stroll down to the white sands, turquoise waters & beachfront restaurants of Long Bay. Space

🛋️ 🛏️ LIVING AREAS & BEDROOM: Airy and filled with sunlight, you'll find an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling. Equipped with a king-size bed, two comfortable lounge chairs, a small workspace, AC, cable TV and hi-speed WIFI, you’ll have all your home comforts but with a much better view! The compact kitchen in the Penthouse is fully equipped for speedy meals with built-in cooktop, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster oven, blender and refrigerator. The bathroom is spacious and offers a large shower and a dressing area with dresser and hanging closet. ☀️ STEP OUTSIDE: Open the large glass sliding doors to the covered deck, settle into the teak furniture, listen to the waves roll in and feel the breeze from your private ocean lookout spot.

Access

The Penthouse unit is the upstairs suite of Song Of The Sea villa. Guests share an entryway with the Garden Suite unit, a door leads off to the left for the Penthouse and one to the right for the Garden Suite although it’s quite possible that you won’t see any other guests for your entire stay.

🏡 Song of the Sea is villa #5 and can be rented as an entire villa, or as two separate apartments.Check out our separate listings for the Garden Suite and entire villa for up to 4 guests. 💨 AC: There is AC and ceiling fan in the bedroom 🧹 HOUSEKEEPING: is once a week. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Neighborhood

Song of the Sea is located in the exclusive but welcoming neighbourhood of Long Bay in the West End of Tortola. It has a friendly community feel with a good mix of residents and tourists in the area. You’ll be just minutes away from Long Bay's beach and various wonderful amenities. 🏖️🍴🎾LONG BAY (270 yards away) At Long Bay you’ll find a mile-long stretch of white sand & turquoise waters & a selection of beachfront refreshment options - 1748 Restaurant, Tropical Fusion, Johnny’s Beach Bar & 1748 Coffee Shop. If you’re feeling energetic there’s Long Bay Beach Resort’s Tennis & Pickleball courts. A day pass will buy you hours of fun! Gym passes also available as well as a spa for a little pampering. You can also purchase a pool pass for the day ($100 pp incl $75 food & beverage credit & access to the pool. Under 12's are free) 🏖️🍴SMUGGLER’S COVE (1.2 miles away) Smuggler’s Cove is idyllic & perfectly sheltered by its vibrant reef which provides sensational snorkeling & is home to Patricia’s laid-back beach bar. *cruise ship passengers sometimes come here so look online for the "BVI cruise ship schedule" to avoid the busier days. 🏄‍♀️🍴 APPLE BAY (0.6 miles away) A little village with world-class winter surf & a handful of bars and restaurants (Nardie's Beach Bar at Sebastian’s, The Sugar Mill, Tramonti) for all occasions. 🥭🍴CARROT BAY (1.3 miles away) A charming village where you'll find local fisherman, fruit stalls, North Shore Shell Museum and D’Coal Pot restaurant. 🍴WINDY HILL (2.3 miles away) Head to Stoutt's Lookout for a chilled beer with an incredible view over the bay or Bananakeet (Heritage Inn) restaurant for one of the best dinner spots to watch the sunset on island. ⛴️🍴🛒SOPER’S HOLE MARINA (2.9 miles away) Here you’ll find a great selection of restaurants (Omar's Coffee House, Admiral’s Pub & Pusser's Landing), a well-stocked grocery store, boat charter companies, shops, Driftwood Spa & more. West End Ferry Terminal is opposite (where you can catch ferries & water taxis to fellow British Virgin Island Jost Van Dyke and US Virgin Islands St John & St Thomas). Enquire with Soper's Hole Marina & Lighthouse Marina for dock space if you have a boat. 🏖️ 🛒💃 🍴CANE GARDEN BAY (3.6 miles away) The buzziest beach on island, you'll find a whole variety of Restaurants & Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett's plus many more) lining the water. You'll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming & options for watersports & Callwood's Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the "BVI cruise ship schedule" to avoid the busier days.

✈️ TERRANCE B. LETTSOME AIRPORT (EIS) (19 miles away) is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you'll fly into. ⛴️ WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (3 miles away) The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke ⛴️ ROAD TOWN FERRY TERMINAL Here you can catch ferries to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) and fellow British Virgin Islands (Anegada & Virgin Gorda) ⛵ SOPER'S HOLE MARINA, LIGHTHOUSE MARINA & NANNY CAY MARINA Arriving by boat & looking for dock space? Try these marinas nearby. 🚗 Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps.
