thirty - a contemporary and sustainable retreat where sliding glass walls and open sky meet the turquoise sweep of Tortola's Atlantic shoreline. A jacuzzi, infinity pool, open-air movie pit and 8 minute walk to the beach complete your dream escape.
thirty is one of the newest and closest villas to the beach within Trunk Bay Estate. Clean lines, minimalist design, and wide sliding glass doors create a seamless flow from indoors to out. This is modern island living, pared back and quietly dramatic. Despite its proximity to the beach, the villa feels private and peaceful, set within one of Tortola’s most sought after residential enclaves.
Our team at Villas of Tortola would love to welcome you!

Space
A concrete driveway sweeps up to the courtyard parking area with space for turning. A large wooden door provides complete privacy from here, and it's only as you open it that the quiet luxury of thirty is revealed. thirty is sleek yet warm, minimalist yet deeply connected to its surroundings. A villa where mornings are spent on the balcony with coffee and sea views, afternoons drift between beach and lounger, and evenings end beneath the stars with a film playing against a mountain backdrop.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The three bedrooms are designed to feel quite equal for 3 couples renting together. They all have a private exterior access, and are minimalist in design to maximize the stunning beach views through the floor to ceiling glass doors that run the width of each bedroom. Each features a custom king bed and cabinetry with plenty of shelving and hanging space, an ensuite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and electric blinds to reveal the glistening ocean when you're ready for your next day in paradise. One of the bathrooms also features an indoor/outdoor shower, everyone's Caribbean dream!
In 2 of the bedrooms the glass doors open onto private balconies overlooking Trunk Bay beach, the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee.
In the third bedroom, the sliding doors also open fully but instead of a balcony, a built in upholstered bench stretches across the width of the room, the perfect spot for children to sleep, or just lounge with a book and watch the light change over the water.
LIVING AREAS:
The living space is relaxed and welcoming, with a cool leather L shaped sofa perfect for stretching out after a swim, and a 65" Smart TV for cozy evenings in. A telescope invites you to slow down and watch sailboats drift by or the moon rise over the water.
The kitchen’s broad granite island becomes a gathering point, whether it’s fresh fruit and coffee in the morning or wine and laughter in the evening. Four stools line the island, and heavy glass sliders pull back completely, opening the full width of the room to sea air and sunlight. (kitchen includes electric oven and cooktop, large fridge freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle)
Heavy glass sliders pull back to open the full width of the living area, blending indoors with the terrace and ocean beyond.
A separate laundry room provides a washer and dryer for guest use.
The villa is mostly solar powered, offering a thoughtful balance of comfort and sustainability (only the cooktop and dryer run off grid power).
STEP OUTSIDE:
This is where the magic really happens and unforgettable memories are made.
The warm black jacuzzi is perfect for relaxed evening soaks, while the adjacent sparkling white pool gives a whole new definition to infinity edge as the water pours onto the horizon. The sun loungers invite slow afternoons, and a poolside shower is a cool spot to rinse off after the beach beneath the pergola. The outdoor granite dining table seats eight for relaxed dinners beneath a sky scattered with stars. And gas BBQ makes island evenings feel effortless.
And then there's the movie pit... a sunken outdoor lounge to watch films projected onto the wall while the mountains rise behind and bougainvillea softly frames one side. It's genuinely unique and unexpectedly magical. Children adore it. Adults do too. After a beach day just minutes away, gathering here with blankets and popcorn or cocktails becomes the moment everyone talks about long after the trip ends. Or for the ultimate 'only in Tortola" vacation watch from the jacuzzi or pool.
Beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler are provided for relaxed days at Trunk Bay. Being able to walk to the beach in just minutes makes mornings easy and sunset swims effortless.

Neighborhood
thirty nestles into a lower lot closer to sea-level than most villas in this prestigious and well-maintained estate overlooking Trunk Bay on the North side of Tortola. The villas are dotted around on large lots maintaining privacy for all.
TRUNK BAY (on your doorstep)
One of Tortola’s most beautiful and unspoiled beaches, you won’t find much here other than white sands, crystal blue waters and the sound of the waves. It’s a short but steep/bumpy walk down the hillside track.
ROAD TOWN (3.1 miles away)
Here, you’ll have a choice of great restaurants, bars & coffee shops (Capriccio’s, Lady Sarah’s, Dragonfly, The Dove, Botella and Island Roots are some our faves), the Road Town ferry terminal which you can catch boats to Virgin Gorda & St Thomas, and plenty of shops for souvenirs (try Nutmeg & Co and EC Soap Co for locally made products and gifts). You’ll also find our largest grocery stores here (Riteway Pasea Estate and OneMart Superstore) plus specialty food stores like Steakation and The French Deli.
JOSIAH’S BAY (4.4 miles away)
offers amazing surf for both beginners and pros and is home to BVI Surf School where you can rent a board or book a lesson. There’s also a couple of low-key beach bars for a cold beer and a snack here too.
CANE GARDEN BAY (5.9 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you’ll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett’s plus many more) lining the water. You’ll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood’s Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the “BVI cruise ship schedule” to avoid the busier days.
Transit
TERRANCE B. LETTSOME (EIS) (6.5 miles away)
is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). It’s the only airport on Tortola and where you’ll fly into. The relatively new American Airlines route direct from Miami flies up to 5 times a day at the busiest time of the year and is a game changer, giving you so many more hours to spend in Tortola the day you arrive.
ROAD TOWN FERRY HARBOUR (3.1 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) and other British Virgin Islands (Virgin Gorda & Anegada)
Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and there’s so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but it’s a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry’s Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
