Cane Garden Bay Cottage 1

The cottage was great. Loved the close proximity to all the restaurants and bars! And being across the street from beach access was incredible. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings drinking coffee.

I arranged for our children, spouses, and grandchildren to rent three of the four cottages. Each family had their own cottage for the week which was perfect due to very different lifestyles..young marrieds, young parents, and grandparents. The cottages were recently renovated and were tastefully appointed. Everything we needed was there. The grounds were spacious and well tended. The management company was available on a moments notice to fix a minor wifi problem. The locale is perfect being right across the street from beautiful Cane Garden Bay. Restaurants and bars were just down the beach. A laundromat and small grocery store is also nearby. With taxis available no car is necessary unless you want to really explore the island. This past November was our second stay at Cane Garden Bay Cottages and we highly recommend them for singles, couples, families, and anyone who prefers to be in a “village” without needing to rent a vehicle. We have stayed on Tortola before and didn’t need to go exploring. Everything one needs is within easy walking distance – a gorgeous beach, several restaurants and bars (some with entertainment), grocery store, gift shops, post office, laundromat, ATM, and convenience stores.

Each cottage has two separate one-bedroom (with AC) units. The units in the rear building can open into each other if friends or family are renting both units. Each unit has a spacious porch with comfy cushioned wicker chairs and a large table. The rooms have been recently updated with fresh paint, new tile and fixtures, colorful striped upholstered furniture, heavenly mattresses, and upscale linens. Bathroom vanities are small, but the showers are spacious, and there is good water pressure and plenty of hot water. All rooms have ceiling fans. Beach chairs are provided. There’s a gazebo with a charcoal grill and picnic tables, and hammocks under the palm trees. The grounds are well tended and lush with a low concrete wall in front by the road. There’s a driveway for off-road parking.

We always felt safe, even walking at night. We enjoyed watching the local people walking past us on their way to work or school. We were very pleased with the service provided by the managers, Sam and JC. They were there in a flash whenever we needed anything or had a question. We appreciated the WIFI and automatic generator. All in all, Cane Garden Bay Cottages have been a great lodging choice for us!   (Connie   vrbo   10.2013)
