Literally on the water’s edge, Casa Caribe offers someone on a budget a spectacular Caribbean vacation spot! The views are sublime, across to Jost Van Dyke and numerous other islands as far as the eye can see. Located on Tortola’s North Shore and famous for its surf, Apple Bay also offers fantastic snorkeling on a calm day…

THE INTERIOR

From the off-road parking area steps lead down to the sea-level unit and a spacious covered porch with a dining table for 4, as well as 2 comfortable rockers where you can put your feet up, read a book or just watch the day go by! Large screened glass sliding doors lead in to the living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with a four-burner cook top, microwave, blender, toaster and coffee-maker.

The living area has a sofa and coffee table.

The comfortable bedroom offers a queen size bed and the bathroom has a shower.

The interior stays nice and cool with Hunter ceiling fans and the fully screened windows and doors which let in the fresh ocean breezes, if you prefer to turn on the AC at night you have that option also.

As you can see the decor is tasteful with a cool, coastal vibe.

THE OUTSIDE & NEARBY

Two minutes walk away, the hotel Sebastians on the Beach offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a small convenience store (closed right now due to Irma renovations). Big Ben’s Gas Station and C&D Supermarket (convenience store) are less than 5 mins drive over Zion Hill. The Sugar Mill, Tramonti and Da Coal Pot restaurants are less than 5 mins drive in another direction. Long Bay beach and Smugglers Cove are a few minutes drive in the opposite direction.

*Please note that although Casa Caribe is on the water’s edge, you do need to walk a short distance (2 mins) along the road to access the beach*

The home was exactly as advertised. They scheduled a ride from the airport for us and had our rental car waiting at the house so everything from check-in to check-out was stress free! Casa Caribe is in the perfect location if you want a quiet getaway. It is close to grocery, restaurants, and beaches perfect for snorkeling/swimming. Our driver from the airport (Eric) was amazing and offered helpful advice! We will certainly be coming back to Casa Caribe! (Maija C airbnb 10.23.2022)

Casa Caribe was great!!!

The views were always perfect. Our host helped us figuring out where to rent a car, where to get covid tested, and even how to have groceries delivered! House supplied 2 beach chairs and a cooler. We came home one day to no water and called our host, and a plumber there and issue fixed within 15 minutes. We rented a car and had an awesome time exploring Tortola and the other islands. The sound of the waves were so beautiful and peaceful. We slept great in a comfortable bed and had great sleep while there. Loved sitting outside with an unbelievable view, couldn’t get enough!! (Charlie S vrbo 12.6.2021)

Casa Caribe lower unit comes through again!!

Just got back 6/5/21 from my second time at the lower unit of Casa Caribe – 1 time by myself and this time with my girlfriend. It was perfect for both scenarios! It is basic, but it has all the amenities we needed – cooktop range, good fridge, small dining table, all the utensils/dishes we needed, very comfortable bed with side tables and an adjacent shelving/hanging area for clothes, nice walk-in shower and sink setup. And I haven’t even mentioned the handy porch for its beautiful views and constant symphony of the breaking waves (note: if you think the waves will keep you awake at night, the windows are good quality and do an excellent job of shutting out the sound if that’s what you’re after – but not me!).

Great location for enjoying Long Bay and Smugglers Cove (both quick, easy access from Casa Caribe). All in all, another wonderful vacation at Casa Caribe!! Property manager Samantha was SUPER helpful and responsive in every aspect that we could have asked for! You cannot go wrong in this unit! (Robert P vrbo 5.26.2021)

My wife and I just recently got back from spending our 8 day honeymoon at Casa Caribe. We could not have found a better spot on the island for the two of us. The sunset views from the porch were to die for. The closeness to 5 classy restaurants along the same road and 3 awesome beaches made it that much better. I would recommend and couple to stay at casa caribe for their vacation. You can walk down to Sebastians and have an amazing breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also rent snorkel gear from the like we did – or if you’re into surfing the closest beach is one of the surfing hotspots on the island. (Dillon S airbnb 10.25.2021)

Beautiful and Private Location

What a truly lovely location on the BVI. The property is as advertised , very clean and attractive.

If not for the current BVI handling of the Covid19 restrictions the entire trip would have been seamlessly relaxing and enjoyable. Of course this is no fault of the owner, and they were gracious enough to add a few extra days on our stay to make up for the BVI gov. blunders. All in all it’s a lovely private location with incredible views and a beach just steps away. Tortola itself is quite a gem and the townspeople are quite friendly and helpful.
