The Beach House

My family of 5 stayed at this wonderful location in December. The house is lovely with all the amenities you will need for enjoying and entertaining. A car is necessary to get around. Very quiet on this end of the island. Beach is very nice but wavy while we were there. There is a new property being built next door but with the wind we didn’t even know anything was going on. Another sheltered beach is near by with 2 beach bars. Some great restaurants near by and also within walking distance. Did a day trip to Jost via the West End Ferry. Also a snorkeling trip from West End. The managers and their assistants were very responsive and helpful in making recommendations (ferry, activities) and assisting with reservations (car). We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. It was fun to be able to walk to the beach and to Long Bay Resort for a few meals. The house was clean and beautiful. We have stayed in many homes on Tortola. The Beach House was hands down our favorite for a list of reasons. We begin with easy access from the road and walkability. Every morning we took our coffees down to Long Bay for a walk and to the Beach Club for drinks or dinner. Secondly, the decor was top notch and the house was super clean. Everything you could want or need was there. 2 clean Igloo coolers, ice packs, umbrellas and beach chairs. We left 2 snorkel sets too. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. Clearly, the owners know their way around the kitchen. The main bedroom is set off from the main house and is pretty much its own apartment. The outdoor shower is to die for. It is private but close to the road and appointed to the moon. We can’t wait to stay there again. The friends we brought with us are already making plans to come back to the house with their family. We recommend Sam and their properties. The views are fantastic and we can absolutely say The Beach House was great and felt like home. Sam was responsive to our questions and they addressed things the day we asked and provided great recommendations. The house has a great kitchen with plenty of comfortable furniture and storage. We preordered groceries and Sam’s team had them neatly placed in the refrigerator and pantry before our arrival. The guest house was amazing with private balcony and views to behold. The house is well stocked with pool chairs and recliners and a large table under the outside veranda. The only thing to add is it would have been nice to know ahead of time how steep the driveway was with its switchbacks that would have allowed us to have been better prepared. We were also surprised (pleasantly) when the maid showed up unexpectedly in the morning. Same for the landscapers. The Villa is perfectly positioned literally yards from Long Bay beach, while at the same time being elevated enough to provide wonderful uninterrupted views across the bay to Jost and be above any traffic. We stayed for 10 nights and at times there were 8 of us, but because the villa is on 3 levels it never felt crowded, but you do need to be able to climb steep inclines and steps. The Villa was quite recently finished to a very nice standard and everything was working or quickly sorted by the property managers.   (Stuart C   vrbo   June 16th 2023)
