SHOP TIL YOU DROP...

BVI may not exactly be a shopping hotspot, but we do have some awesome homegrown talent. Check out the best local talent for clothes, art and gifts for friends and family (and yourself!). The below are all around the Island but If you’re looking for a concentrated area of shops, then Road Town and the Pier Park (where the cruise ships stop) are the best areas.

1

Arawak is an awesome one-stop shop for good quality known-brand swimwear, clothing, sandals, jewellery, games, gifts & more.

2

The most authentic Caribbean hand-crafted souvenirs you’ll find: jewellery, pottery, trinkets, original artwork, screen-printed t-shirts, and unique sculptures by our good friend Aragorn Dick-Read. Make a trip of it and visit one of the fun restaurants at Trellis Bay like LOOSE MONGOOSE or tie it in with a beach day at LONG BAY EAST

3

Support local business by taking a trip to Bamboushay Boutique. Located in the main building of Bamboushay Restaurant and Lounge, the Bamboushay Pottery specialises in locally made pottery including mugs, bowls, candles, homewares and sconces. You’ll find pieces in all shapes and sizes in hues of greens and blues, matching the islands cool colours.

4

If you like a little pampering then you’ll love EC Soap Co! Founded in 2015 by a local young entrepreneur Alexandra Durante, she creates handmade body products like soaps, skincare and sun lotions using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. They are environmentally-friendly, cruelty-free and reef-safe. Conveniently located on Waterfront Drive next to CAPRICCIO’S restaurant and close to the ferry terminal.

5

A homewares and gifts store in Wickham Cay II, House offers a curated collection of decorative accessories and stylish soft furnishings. A lovely selection of gifts with on trend designs and colours including skincare, stationary and beautiful candles.

6

Inspired by life in the Caribbean, HIHO makes casual & comfortable clothing in a chic island way. The owner grew up on Tortola, so look out for their BVI collection featuring maps and logos of all the islands.

7

A great boutique for all things swimwear, shapewear, lingerie, resort and beach wear.

8

Latitude 18’s tagline is ‘cool clothing and accessories for island life’ and that’s exactly what you’ll find. Carrying most
recognised brands in surf wear, casual clothing, sunglasses and accessories it’s where you go if you need some laid back retail therapy.

9

A chic and stylish Road Town boutique, Nami delivers luxury island style through curated swimwear, resort wear,
jewellery and accessories.

10

Our favourite store for shopping (for ourselves as well as others). Nutmeg & Co offers a thoughtfully curated collection of gifts made by local artisans (BVI and neighbouring Caribbean Islands). You’ll find a huge selection of artwork, jewellery, spices and souvenirs which are both practical and whimsical.

11

Trèfle was born in Tortola by designer Kristin Frazer in 2008. This luxury brand highlights Swimwear, Resort wear,
Accessories and Home Goods with beautiful, quality Caribbean designs. Available at Clover’s store.

12

Nothing says “well-travelled surfer” like a locally made surfboard from Scott Hustins at West Indies Surfboard. Quality boards with cool custom artwork, you’ll be getting something that’s one of a kind.
