Located in a converted rum distillery at Long Bay Beach Resort, 1748 has a gorgeous beach-chic setting with a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. Complete with it’s own herb and veggie garden, the menu focusses on fresh ingredients and a carefully curated wine list. They also have a coffee shop, perfect for starting the day with a local Caribbean coffee, a freshly pressed juice or a hand-made pastry and Johnny’s beach bar with a cocktail menu infused with a taste of the Caribbean and tasty bar snacks.

Offering Mediterranean and Caribbean fusion with themed nights including their famous Thursday Bingo and Karaoke, it can get busy so we’d recommend booking ahead!

Arguably the best view for dinner, Bananakeet Cafe (also knows as Heritage Inn) is perched on Windy Hill overlooking Jost Van Dyke, Great Thatch and Great Tobago. They have a comprehensive menu with plenty of fish, meat and pasta options. They have a lovely bar up there but only take reservations for dinner, so give them a call and enjoy the most breathtaking sunset views.
